Or I would have, if I hadn't forgotten the bloody magazine! It's just a short piece about your latest video in Barcelona, saying how much they like it. I'll try and remember the magazine tomorrow to show you a scan...
-
I'll scan it in at work for you tomorrow

Jack Carthy at the British Trials Cup Final - Here’s a video of Onza and Tribal rider Jack Carthy at the final round of the British Trial Cup at Shipley Glen on Sunday, filmed and edited by his uncle. It’s choc full of big, technical riding and there’s a little bonus at the end!

All that Mike's said on his site is that the riders are on board with Phatworks, are tyring his pads and he looks forward to their feedback. No mention of team there. Ben put it in inverted commas as well, presumably because he realised that those riders are just trying the pads out. EDIT: Site's looking good Mike I've sent you a message about some browser issues I was having. Good luck with it all!

It's a Shame About Ray by the Lemonheads - f**king love this album.

I thought it was a great trial! sections really separated the riders out, some very high (like mine) and low scores! A massive thanks to everyone that helped to organise and run the event - Barbara, Brian, Fred, Mick Scrievn and Mick Carthy for organising the event and setting the sections etc., Joe Poyser at Onza for his continued support and presence and for providing the medals, Mike Singleton at Phat Works for also sponsoring the events and providing the prizes and all of the observers and score counters without whom we wouldn't be able to run the event at all! Hope everyone enjoyed it, it was great to see so many riders out!

Oh yeah, I guess you have to add import taxes and that on top?

Just to clarify - people are meeting at the train station on Saturday at 10:30 on Saturday. I'll be a bit later than that probably - going out for a bit of a disco on Friday night - so I'll give someone a ring when I'm out.

This sounds like a pretty sensible idea to me - some of the people on the course when I did my DofE at school did some pretty pointless or silly stuff. If it turns out that you do need some official signatures and stuff you could come along to a few Tyke Trial rounds (why not the whole season? ) and we'd be happy to sign it off for you. You could submit results sheets, links to reports and photos etc. as your evidence. I can't remember exactly how DofE works, it's over ten years since I did mine - do you have a DofE assessor? Do they need to witness you actually doing the activity? Anyway - good luck getting it sorted, I think it's a great idea! If you need any advice/help getting it organised (emails to assessors, stuff like that), email me at membership@biketrialuk.co.uk and let me know

As I was walking up to work this morning I saw a trials rider I've not met before - riding what looked like a Koxx Levelboss 20" and wearing a white piss-pot lid - cycling through Broomhill at about 08:45. Anyone know who it might have been? Was it you?
-
It's just off Penistone Road, just up from the Shell garage. We got all excited and talked about cleaning it up a bit and adding more lines. It's pretty good as it is though, if you can avoid all the broken glass (we couldn't).

Fo' sho' Me and Ogre are riding tomorrow evening I think. I'm going to go out on a limb and say meet at the Owen Building walls at 18:30

Start at 10:30 and finish at *about* 16:00. You can leave as soon as you hand your punch card in, but there's the awards presentation etc. afterwards as well and it's nice to stick around for that (and it's nice to be nice!). It's about an hour and a half from Sheffield for me and a quick look on Google Maps says it's about the same from Chapel - I'd say you should be absolutely fine time-wise Hope to see you there!
