  1. The 2011 Koxx Sky frames - The new 2011 Sky frames have arrived at K-124 and will be available by the end of the week from K-124 House. They have understated lines, a classy purebred look that returns to the very essence of the brand : the quest for pure performance.
  2. It all seems to have been mentioned here, but the full article is now up: The 2011 Koxx Sky frames
  3. Vincent has sent us these pictures of the new Sky frames for 2011. We'll have a proper article up, hopefully today, with full details and more pictures, but I thought you might like to see these!
  4. Ordered a copy at 16:24, email saying it's been dispatched at 16:46. Bruddy Brirriant!
  5. Trials in Indonesia - Yosnison Maretsa, a rider who lives in the South of Jakarta, tells us about the trials scene in Indonesia and his club, YH Biketrial, which plays an important role in the promotion of tirlas in Indonesia.
  6. At the risk of sounding like a 'square', what about some volunteering? It doesn't have to take up loads of time, just one night a week (for example), and can really help with boredom etc. In some cases it can almost be like a real job (except you don't get paid) and it looks pretty good on your CV and can help with real jobs. Plus you get a buzz from making a difference to people, it keeps you occupied for X hours a week, gets you out the house and away from computer games, etc. I volunteered one night a week at a local centre for disabled people for 5+ years, went on to work in a care home for a few years afterwards (one of the 'best' jobs I've had) and every employer I've had since has serioulsy bummed that part of my CV. Jus' sayin'
  7. K-124 Land! - The K-124 group is leaving the Parisian region, where they have been based for a decade, to set themselves up in the dynamic Rhône-Alpes region, in Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse. Their goal: to bring their business into a new dimension with the creation of K-124 Land! This sounds pretty f*cking amazing - a purpose built practice centre based around K-124's new headquarters, with an Olympic standard bmx track, what they say will be the biggest trials park in the world, dirt jumps, a slope style course, a north shore track and what they say will be the largest indoor skate park in Europe! Maybe I'll move house.... Also... No, you're right. I don't know what's happened to the video as I'm not really involved in that side of things. I've emailed the guys that were working on it and if I hear anything I'll let you know. It's been so long without hearing anything though, I'd assume there won't be one now
  8. The deadline for entries is this Wednesday as we need to have our food order in on Thursday, so please all get your entries in asap! There will be a trial with two laps of five sections, followed by a hot buffet at the Guide Inn, presentation of prizes, including a special prize, supplied by Phat Works, for the best Christmas decorated bike, and the club's Annual General Meeting. We would like as many club members as possible to attend the meeting - it's your chance to have your say in how the club is run, where and when competitions are held, etc. - so please do come along. The weather forecats looks good for the weekend - it's supposed to warm up between now and then (up to a scorching high of seven degrees!) and there's no snow forecast, so we should be OK! *crosses fingers* I'm not sure why you'd want to come and ride but not enter - might as well ride the comp if you're there? You'd have more fun I'm sure, and would get to push yourself a bit more and compete against other riders, plus you get a hot buffet and the chance to win some cool prizes to boot! And as Barbara said, it wouldn't really be fair to turn up and use the venue/facilities we've provided/etc. when everyone who is taking part has paid for the privilege. Don't forget - get your entries of ASAP

  11. Yeah, cos THAT'S the weird thing about these photos! I'd like it if it turned out that this wasn't for charity (my first thought) and that these guys just had the idea one day and did it for their own amusement.

  21. Is that not just him painting his house? Is that what the purpose of the whole trip was? Danny's Mum: "The house is starting to look a little tattered - the walls could do with a paint. I'd do it myself, but my back......" Danny: "Hang on Ma, I've just had a brilliant idea!" (rings Red Bull)
