  7. Hi Matt, Looking at your video, you'll be fine in intermediate. As people have said previously, if you enter intermediate and are finding it too easy/difficult you can move up or down a class after no more than three sections. The next Tyke Trial is on the 9th May at Penistone Country Park if you fancy giving one a go. Entry forms and directions are available here. You'll need to join the club to be able to ride; it's £10 for full membership or you can pay £3 for a one-off day membership to see if you like it (you'll need to join as a full member after that if you want to keep coming). If you'd like any more info or a membership form, feel free to drop me a line at membership@biketrialuk.co.uk. Hope that helps

  11. Hi Samyno! Bienvenu au forum! While I can't validate you myself, I'm sure it won't be long until you are validated; if you read the guide to validation topics you may be able to speed the process up. In the meantime, if there's anything you'd like me to post in the Tribal Zine topic, just let me know Ben

  13. That gap that Damon did to two wheels on the wooden fence was the coolest move in the whole video! That bail where he landed on his stomach on the rail looked savage!
  14. Hi Tris, If you weren't interested in the full Team Pack deal, I'm sure we could arrange a 'mini-pack' of just a shirt and stickers, does that sound like the sort of thing you meant? We wouldn't really be able to offer you any other benefits though, other than posting your photos/videos. The discounted bikes are what we offer to the team, thanks to companies that sponsor and support the site. Hope that helps. Ben
  15. I'd like to echo what everyone has already said - what a great day! Fantastic venue, challenging and enjoyable sections, perfect weather; what more could we have asked for? Huge thanks to everyone who helped organise and run the event! Can't wait for Addingham! Write-up, results and photos now up on Tribal Zine, here.

  17. Lately people only seem to be interested and haven't come out with anything funny, even when moving us on from places in town. About six years ago I was hopping across some bike rails by the pier in Deal and the pier attendant came running down the steps shouting "Oi! They're not for bikes!" They are. That's DEFINITELY what they're for.
  18. I know... as a fellow grammar nazi (it's part of my job!) it gets to me too. It's because the site is programmed to display French text and all punctuation marks in French, except full stops and commas, have a space before them. I delete the spaces in all my translations, but the site keeps putting them back in! Telling Jérome and seeing if we can fix it for the English articles is on my to do list, but we're both ultra-busy at the moment, so it's pretty low priority at the minute; hope you don't mind putting up with it for a while longer!
  19. OK If there ever is anything you'd like us to feature, just fire me a PM Kenny Belaey in Cape Town - Kenny was in South Africa at the end of March (he goes everywhere!) promoting his sponsors, Adidas and Red Bull. Here are some great photos by Craig Kolesky, taken in Cape Town on the 29th March Wesley Belaey and his Curve 26 - A series of photos of Wesley riding his (now not-so-) new Ozonys Curve 26 and an interview that we carried out earlier in March.
  20. I think if he had time, Jérôme would put everything up! Unfortunately we're all busy people with full-time jobs as well as the work we do for Tribal Zine, so some things have to be left out... Is there something you'd like us to cover that we haven't?
  21. Trials at the Laureus World Sports - Danny Mac was nominated for a Laureus Sports Award and Kenny Belaey put on a demo for the gathered personalities - video with a short interview with Danny and Kenny's demo this way! This article was translated by Richard Furlong, a friend of mine who is studying translation and will be helping us out from time to time - thanks Rich! Danny Macaskill on the cover of Trial Mag - Bike trials has unprecedented coverage in issue 45 of Trial Mag, with non other than Danny Mac on the front cover and a 7 page interview with the man himself inside! Also translated by Rich
  22. Andrew Walker - Rockman Bikes Video 2 - an impressive video from Andy on his Slate II, with some nice lines and big moves.
  23. Hi all, As you might be aware, Tribal Zine are looking for six riders to join our team for 2010. We are looking for riders to promote the website online, at competitions and on the streets, and entries are open to riders of all levels, nationalities and ages. The team will be supported by some of the most active shops in France (K-124-House, Sphèrebike, Trialprod and the TMS Pro Shop), and thanks to them we are able to offer successful candidates some top of the range bikes at discount prices, as well as a team jersey and sticker packs. In exchange, riders would be expected, as mentioned previously, to promote Tribal Zine and our partners online, at competitions and on the streets. Send your applications to team@tribalzine.com, including as much info as possible; name, age, contact details, comeptition results (for competitors), media (photos, videos etc.), riding goals and achievments and anything else that you think might help your application. See the article on Tribal Zine for full details of the team offer and the bikes available. We look forward to receiving your applications! Good luck!
