  1. Get a RED, it's just 5000 with one more 0. Technology is moving quite fast, good cameras are getting cheaper. Last year you had the 5D for full frame video and now you got the Sony NEXfs100, Canon C300, RED scarlet etc. It's just a matter of time till cinema quality cameras be in the hands of us, simple mortals!
  2. Nice video video btw.. Never considered the casio exilim for super slomos? It goes up to 1200 fps, but drops on image size quite a bit. Still, Its a good slomo machine for the price.
  3. I'm having so much fun riding the inspired...Opens a lot of possibilities. You can look at anything and try whatever you're feeling to do. I've seen a lot of those transitions on old skate videos but I've never seen it on bikes so I tried it out and it worked out nicely. There's a lot of new things I've learned that I couldn't get done for this edit. I hope I can make a new edit soon when I get my bike sorted. I live in Porto..It's has some nice spots but not the best place in Portugal if you want to ride. Lisbon and Algarve have better spots to ride. Algarve has more skateparks and Lisbon street stuff.. Pm me if you come to Porto, I would be glad to show you around here. Thanks for the comments. I'm glad you guys enjoy it.
  4. I don't know if this says much but it's pretty cool. And you can see clearly the other brands. Thunderbolt test I guess they have faith on their cranks then.
  5. That's what I was going for.. I skated for 2 years and I still love to see skate and bmx videos. This edit wasn't suppose to be like that, it's missing a lot of new stuff I've learned but I got a nice deal on my bike, It had to go.. Also the bad weather came, so I don't get to much time to ride but I'm looking forward for next year. Thanks for the comments!
  6. I had quite a bit of struggle to get time to ride and film this year due to work and university. So here's a small video of what If been doing lately. I'm loving speed stuff and wallrides at the moment. Many thanks to trialportugal.net for the support they gave me this year. Hope you guys enjoy it..
  7. Just get some Shimano XT or saints. Xt's are cheap and can manage a beating that's for sure. Profile cranks are the most expensive cranks on the BMX market, specially with Ti axle. You have good and cheaper bmx cranks like eclat tibia and odyssey twombolts and they aren't that heavy.
  8. Nice video! That reminds me of the hours If spent In the middle of nowhere riding my bike just having fun trying figure out how to get up stuff.. Really enjoyed that!
  9. It's quite bad seeing new brands going for a quick buck! Why would anyone buy a play bike seriously? We can get the same thing at probably the same price with other brands. They could put their money and effort on making decent weight frame that people could trust for more than one year. That wouldn't be difficult to make and it's not new either but it would have a purpose at least. Or maybe a total press fit BBs and axle-through frame to make it stronger and lighter, I dunno..
  10. You did it well.. Trials BB's aren't suited for that kind of impact. Get some external BB's..
  11. Another brand like the others.. Not impressed really.
  12. He can go more creative or mixing what he does with gnarly crazy stuff, either way I like it. Freecoasting sliders are so much fun!
  13. He's just having fun doing whatever he wants. It's happening to street riding what happened to art with marcel duchamp. People just go out there exploring their environment and instead of not riding places because they can't do the bag of tricks of a trend they simple explore a different point of view about having fun on a bike. This guy being credited by big companies is really great.
  14. Looks amazing! Nice choice on the front end and rims! You're gonna love it I'm sure!
  15. Double the power and 274gr It's not that bad. Spending 390euros to smash on a wall is a bit to much..
  16. This is way more interesting : Super brake! And it weights 189gr without rotor!
  17. I don't know.. I'm not that hash I guess (video) but I run high psi and there are things in street that you can´t avoid the hard landing. And now with the 2011 fourplay you can really nose dive it which I do a lot on 3's. That's probably why I breaking so many parts.
  18. I guess he just doesn´t give a f**k how things look like. He just has fun doing all those weird tricks. Still, that video he made in 2005 called "ultimate mod video" will always stay in my mind as one of the most influential of all time for me. I saw it too many times. He's a legend and I would love to get my hands on one of those black 2004 monty ti.
  19. What about the fork steering tube? same thickness? The legs on the fourplay version are a bit thin and I see they have changed that but I guess the steering should get a bit thicker too, specially at the end were the legs weld. I almost broke all my teeth and still managed to get this huge hole in my shoe next to my thumb, I was quite lucky. I was doing this 180 drop and when the fork broke It left this metal pointy bit near the headset, I managed to put my foot in front to save my face and the sharp piece went through my shoe. The forks are great and they are the strongest aluminium fork you can get out there but I just want to know if that part is going to change, other wise I'm thinking cromoly. Maybe I had a faulty one. I dunno..
  20. What a great video! what can we ask more? Clean, smooth, powerful and ballsy.. Best trials video I've seen in a while..
  21. yeah the M5 is not the first one for sure. A friend of mine got a carbon 24" trials frame made for him in 2006 I think. Long WB, Short CS , short stem and medium bb rise.
