  1. Yeah Kevin Liu's have really good quality. He probably is shooting with expensive glass and I read somewhere on OTN he was filming with a micro 4/3 camera. If you get a Panasonic GH2 (£600) hacked up to a bit rate 100 mb/s or more, less compressed codec than h-264 you'll get astonishing image quality, better that DSLRs. But for good sharpness and color rendering it all comes down to glass quality.
  2. Doesn´t the drive shell have one C clip that holds it all together? How do you keep the drive shell without popping off? On the normal Pro II it's a O ring in the washer that clicks on the axle. Is this the same on the Pro II SS?
  3. Cheers! Will try to get more footage out. Yeah I got confused with the reach and top tube length. Reach measures from the BB to the center of the headtube. But yeah, I guess it's a good reach for trials while having it short for spins and whips. I'm so stoked! Can wait to get my Marino frame and forks! Didn't took much time passing them to lines and drops. Barspins is one of those things that you really can't think to much about it. It's too fast to think. When you start to feel the hang time in the air it's virtually the same flat or drop. It's technically harder on flat but but on drop you got to have that leap of faith mental part going on. Thanks for the comments!
  4. Elstran is awsome! So much creativity, tech and above all fun evolved in his riding. That's why I lost a bit interest in Tate Roskellys riding. At the begining he had cool stuff that was creative and took some amount of skills, now it's a bit diluted.
  5. I prefer longer stays to have it more balanced. 365mm CS will be more flickable but to have a "decent" WB I don't want more reach than 605mm.
  6. I want it to be nicer for trials without being long for spins. Its going to be just a matter of stem choice I guess. I was afraid about the WB being to short and my front wheel touching my front foot on barspins. I think It's a good compromise for street and trials. I still need to see how the frame is going with Marino because maybe I can still change a bit on the BB rise to 17mm or 20mm.
  7. Yeah. Here's a pic: It already has some changes like integrated head-set and some minor adjustments on the fork rake from 28mm to 25mm and ST from 290 to 270mm. It's basically going to be a street frame with a 90mm 10º stem. Maybe the 75mm stem if I sell the 90mm. Thanks for the comments guys!
  8. Sweet clips! That last move was buttery smooth!
  9. Thats one of the reasons I put these out. I rather start fresh with Marino and film something new with his frame and fork. I guess it wouldn't be nice repping Marino using clips with other frame. Cheers mate! Like I said on tour, it's very hard for me to get someone to ride with or film. I got these nice ideas of mixing stuff and lines that I want to put out but it has to be filmed the proper way, with a lot of patience. It's kind of hard to make trials segments look good so the lines have to be well thought out and speedy. It takes a lot of time, skill and good spot scouting. I tend to miss one of those.
  10. Basically I got these clips laying around on my computer without seeing the light so I decided to do some random clip editing on them. Some of them were filmed for my GET creative video entry but I couldn't manage to get everything I wanted in time and I've sold my frame recently so there was no point in keeping them. The clips are from 2009 till 2012. http://youtu.be/EP2jttou8lg Hope you guys enjoy it!

    .

Its looking good! You're tucking it nicely for such a long bike. To finish rolling back with some speed I would suggest lowering the front end and send it more to the distance instead of up in the air. It will be more risky since you can loose the traction on the rail but It seems you can manage it perfectly. Nice move!
  12. Definitely what Mark said. What made me go to street trials was exactly the idea of riding everything. It was the reason why I got a trials bike in first place, to found out later it was quite limited. Riding everything is a pretty cool ideal, but it's one made full of compromises. That's probably why it never continued growing in the past.
  13. Definitely the best choice. Inspired is stepping their game up by changing to chromoly. The Inspired chromoly frame/fork combo should be perfect in all matters. It will be probably stronger than the Skye and from the looks of it the geo is spot on. If it cracks, re-weld it and you'll have a frame for another year till you re-weld it again. Not the same can be said for aluminium.
  14. This. And from what I've been seeing, breaking forks is not that uncommon at the moment. Like Sam said "if you don't, you should probably try harder", in a moderate sense of course, but the point is when your out trying new stuff, your bike is going to take all your mistakes, specially when speed adds to the equation. And from what I've experienced through the years aluminium is not known for it's forgiveness when it come to harsh impacts. Chromoly maybe not be ultimate strength solution but it has given it's proofs on the streets for many years, that's why I'm really stoked to ride marino's frame and fork, specially these new versions with integrated head tube, clean dropouts, butted chromoly and the option of a full custom geometry. Thanks boys! Really enjoyed this years trip, had a really good time with you guys .Looking forward for the next years 24" tour!
  15. Well through my hand would be weird. haha.. No. I snapped a well abused fork and the steering tube went through my shoe. Got quite close to my toe though.
  16. Thanks guys, I'm really stoked on this. I have always appreciated marino's work and he seems to get better and better. I'm glad to help and promote marino!
  17. Really enjoyed this.. Good riding! Sweet looking table at 2:26, best I've seen on a trials bike.
  18. Good video! Thought the same when I saw the his video. Funny looking back at that thread. It seemed he was kind of angry with trials at the time.
  19. David is a f**king machine! Love his riding and he's also a pretty sound guy. He probably didn't enter the competition because he didn't know about it. About the footwhips as you can see in his previous videos he puts out kind of a short summary of his riding. With proper motivation he would be such an unique rider not that he isn't already. Someone should hook this guy up and make a video contract, he has so much to give. I'm sure he's one of those who can really push the sport forward in terms of riding.
  20. 10/10 entertaining wise! Sean knows well how to work his image. Editing was simple, it really went well with the music and B&W was definitely a good choice! Color can be tricky sometimes. I rather prefer seeing nick's or flips GET entries than this one but I guess It comes down to preference of the content. Btw, those nose manuals make me jealous.

Yes Nick! Tech and creative all the way! Didn't feel the first music but the second one made for the first! Really liked: switch stuff, Big lloyds clips and the last clips. Definitely have to watch a couple of times to comprehend some of those combos. Good work man!
  22. I landed this first try and after seeing the clip all shaky, I decided to go for it again, ending in a huge shin carnage! [media=]
