White spirit seemed fine for me i just made sure i wiped it on with one cloth, and off with another, making sure it all comes off and leaves the rim clean as new!

Id reccomend taking your wheel back out, and whiping it down with white spirit. If thats no good give your pads a good clean and make sure everything is working propperly(ie the pads hitting the rim in the right position) if all that doesnt work, try going to your lbc and see what they can do for you!

I got a KMC and it seems stiff as! i got it slightly used (cheers zero-dave) and its awsome so far. I managed to snap my old one, throwing me over the bars from 5 pallets high, i dont reccomend trying that. So ye, so far i would say KMC ***!

Fixed geared bike ***! I just got myself one of those 07 specialized langsters in racing green! its soo much fun! For people that dont know, with a langster you have a double sided wheel, so you can just take your wheel out and run a freewheel. I would deffinately reccomend getting something like a langster as it can also be used as a practical everyday bike, rather than only velodrome or if you get the balls to go fixed on the road etc.
