  1. Richard Ainslie would be ace to see
  2. that bike is marytins bike that he has been using in his demos! think there was a chap on the forum who went to one of his demos and took that picture. geo is ment to be like the old et as mentioned.
  3. on mine i did have 100mm with a 5 degree rise stem with some 2 rise backspire bars (tilted upright) which seemed alright. i felt it needed more rise though, but the length seemed to suit the bike quite well. imo just bought a 100mm with 10 degree rise with less of a steerer clamp so i can fit a few more stem stacker's under to raise the front end a bit. but to summarizes i think 100mm stems suit the ashtons fine.
  4. renualt 5 1.4 1994/5 mostly drive motorways at the moment. 30 mile commute to work atm. mpg between 28-34 depends how late i am for work normally cruise between 80-90 mph on the motorway (thats not me trying to sound cool)
  5. urbans are quite flexy, i like flexy forks through! the only down fall with tuff guys are there weight! tuff guys 1200g ish and urbans 800-900g. for the price they are the best forks you can buy and im sure they wont fail on you. does anyone know the length of the tuff guys?
  6. haha cant believe i made such a stupid mistake, thanks for correcting me. i should be able to do basic maths
  7. it may or may not work. i wouldn't however go for shorter forks for a 24" or 26" for that matter. a lower front end would make the front harder to pull up, i would have thought it would be better to have a higher front end on a 24"? people with mods could measure 4" from there front tires and see if there would be enough room for a 24" wheel? i don't have a mod so i cant
  8. all these years my mum has lied to me about camels your right i was close though, they use there humps which contain fat not water to use as stored energy when without food or water for an amount of time.
  9. rowen ali c boon jon shrewsbury andy p are a few of my tops frav and best riders to watch. i think it takes alot more then big tgs to big a great rider. all the people i chose are some of the riders that when i watched videos of made me wanna get back into trials and made the sport look "fun" again.
  10. i do like camels, i like the way they store water in there humps. i would love a thread on camels! you could be the perfect/nicest/most informed and smartest person on this forum and still easily be slated. slating makes the world go round
  11. happy birthday thats only one more year until your life starts going downhill
  12. hey everyone i just thought some of you may be interested in this music blog, it seems quite good well worth a read! www.eyemaylisten.com check it out, i like it!
  13. this is apparently spam because someone quoted me and complained.
  14. tarty bikes sels them for £15 so i might keep an eye one ebay. need it though cause i just sold my spare middleburn driveside but still has the bash attached! so need it asap :| i tried my local halfords 2 years ago and they didnt have it. may have to try again hmmm.
  15. hey does anyone know the cheapest place to buy a middleburn tool/truvitve bb tool? i just went to go to my local bike shop who took my bash guard of before when i upgraded my bash guard to find that they have recently closed down. ive tried the hammer screw driver tactics but its just not going to budge and will just ruin it. or does any one know any good bike shops between the portsmouth area and the bournemouth area who may do it for me? i have to pick my parents up from the airport there tomorrow so could easily pop in somewhere on the way! cheers
  16. oh im dyslexic too, (another addition) even have the paper work to prove it! currently struggling through uni while there are other people i know who are breezing through. all i can say about spelling is to use the spell check! thats what its there for its the grammar i don't like! i do like using big white gaps between writing "stuff" though!
  17. you gotta learn to use caps properly to get your point across. like this YOUR A COCK! merely a example
  18. trex with sus and breakless certainly interestingly there.
  19. hey just to add, ive been riding on and off since i was 15- now 21! dont think im to old for trials yet! going bout the parents, mine show a general interest but there couldn't really care what i did to be honest lol
  20. if you run disks then drill sidewalls on front rim, reduce material on brake levers, drill lever blades, strip paint as you mentioned. i know you would like to save weight, but i really wouldn't risk the strength of any components for grams which wont make the bike ride particularly any better or easier to ride. this is however my own opioion, good luck
  21. i know thats what i meant in my post, i just cant understand why people car so much about there own opinion that they will argue there point to the end. like people killing in the name of religion and race. i know things would never get that extream on trials forum though a bit of subject
  22. sam, i was in the same situation as you, it seems on our 1 year out of the trials scene that trials has evolved into this tgs. i was like wtf when i found this out. i agree in an unfriendly manor, does this make me a homosexuual?
