Are you on about the clubbed to death song that Neil Tunnicliffe used in one of his videos (i think he did anyway), or am i on about another. I think i know which one you mean though, and i have heard it in quite a few videos like the freerunning ones.

Never cover your mate in three pairs of tights (dark ones), then make him jump a stagnant river. Never at a party decide to make a fire from hay bales, then start to jump them. The wind soon takes the fire out of control causing peoples feet to ignite, then causing one of your freinds to get a fire extinguisher out, and hitting someone in the eye with it in the process. Never try and jump a wall with a rail on top of it, to try and get away from a mate that decides to wee up a car outside a police station. That wasn't funny, as i learnt tonight. Don't shoot a lightbulb with a bb gun while you are laying underneath it. Never fill up a lighter with fluid and get it all over your hand, then proceed to light it in a smug fashion. Never get your friend that can hardly ride a bike to jump a river, it just doesn't work out like it should Never get forced into jumping a river, it ends up with you rolling down the bank in a comical fashion, then landing in a heap in the river. Never get a friend to sit on a peice of rope that is attached to two posts, then try and sling him up in the air. He won't go anyway, he will just flip backwards and land on his neck. Again not nice to see. Never climb through a window at school, the chances are you will end up in an on going lesson. That will do for now, my memory seems to be failing me. Excuse any bad spelling as well.

Nicky, you still love him even though he tried to lure you into a nasty 36h wheel death? I guess posting that video made up for it though. So much so that i think i love him too

I started riding motorbike trials when i was nine, and at the competitions i used to go to there was always a few push bike riders, i can remember watching two of them ride at Bracken rocks, and i just got interested and started. Currently: i have started bmxing, i haven't been on my trials motorbike in a long time, and i haven't been on my trials push bike in a while either. I think i need to sort that out

Loved watching that, it makes me want to get back out on my trials motorbike. When it is summer again i think i'm going to have to take it to Lincoln quarry again and have a good ride on it. It is a hell of a lot harder than it looks though, it's one of those things that when you have never done you assume it will be easy because you only use engine power not your own, but when you actually have a go it is a lot more complicated than it looks. The bikes have a dry weight of around 70kg (usually slightly under). The best videos to watch are of the indoor rounds, where it is a man made course, that really is awesome to watch.

2 chavs jump off a bridge, who wins? Society

Take no note of poopipe, he despises 36h wheels so much that he will go to great extents to remove one more off the street, in which ever way possible On a serious note, i run 36h front and rear, and like i said on msn i would deffo get it fixed. If it was 48h then it wouldn't be as big a problem, but with it being 36h you are pushing your luck a bit, plus it is quite an easy thing to fix or get fixed. And about the ride Nicky, i haven't been on msn for a few days so i will speak to you either tonight or tomorrow night a bit more about it

Really enjoyed watching that, had a really good vibe all the way through. The music was top notch as well, they picked some good songs for it. Well worth the download

I have never found any use for tensioners, it just complicates things that don't really need to be complicated. And even when i ran pegs i never used any, granted i never did any massive grinds, but still. And you are going pegless aren't you? so personally i would say that there is no need for them, especially if you start to do pegless grinds, because the chances are you are just going to destroy them anyway.

The thing is, it's all fine and dandy talking about stuff that could be attempted, but the reality is on a lot of the 20" trials bikes with high bbs and the like will make it very hard to do the stuff people think they will be able to do with the gyro. Plus with the bar spin thing, i can only really see old school riders being able to do them as they run seats (most of them), and even then you have to think about how long the actually bars are, and whilst doing a b-hop or sidehop etc it makes it even harder. Then like i said before there is the whole seat issue (or lack of), i'm sure a lot of the bmxers or people that can do barspins actually know what i mean when i say this; learning to do bar spins with no seat to pinch is incredibly difficult, then mixing it with another trick makes it even harder.

hahaha, it would've been awesome to go to school with you, the stuff you have got up to sounds hilarious

Straight from Dan Cox's federal blog (maybe a slight delay )winter sesh. And another from the federal website: Dan Lacey warehouse web video. It has some pretty good riding in it.. And while you are on there, they have a few pictures of some proto stuff they have made that are worth a look.
-
Yeah i think it is, or it is something similar. The one in mbuk was the one that Chris Smith (i think his name is Chris Smith) was testing wasn't it? Either way though, learning bar spins with no, or a slammed trials seat will be incredibly hard (i know from bmxing), although for some stuff i can see it coming in usefull.
-
Yeah, that is basically why, as when i changed my gearing i took a few links out, and took out one too many, and as i like to run a bit of a slack chain, i now have to slam it. I was just considering doing it because i like to do stuff on my bike to make it mine, and customise things to suit me. Plus i just like working on bikes in general. And i can also save weight for when i get some slams on it

I use to wear one pretty similair to that under my motorbike leathers and tops when i went racing. Needless to say they restrict you movement no end, and make it much harder to move about. So by all means try one, but i'm sure you will find with a sport like trials where body movement is key, that it is very impractical.

He just takes the biscuit.

Has anyone here cut down their dropouts, as i have been wondering if i should do it. And as i run a slammed backwheel now there is quite a bit i could remove from them. So is there any do's and don'ts when cutting them down? Or is it just a case of removing how much you want to? And also what is the best tool for going about doing it, as i know when i tried to cut down some old federal bars i have, it took forever and a day using a hacksaw (although it was pretty blunt). I'm also thinking about shortening my seat post, as it is pretty long and unneeded, as i run my seat pretty low. So again is there any minimums when doing it, as i don't want to cut it too short?
-
hahaha that would be great, get a few minibuses, plaster them in writing, and you're all set. Seriously though, what a strange bunch of people, it really does put them in a bad light.
-
That was great, they should of kept the slogans on, it would of been more entertaining. I can't believe they actually pelted rocks at them, all for a little joke.
-
Yeah it does but you need a coaster brake to modify (the ones that when you pedal back, a metal shoe is pressed against the inside of the hubshell).
-
When you sent me the link to that on msn, i was stunned by some of the stuff in it, and i still am after watching it again. And the last three he does down the huge stair set is crazy. Edit: Don't think this has been posted yet, so check it: Dehart and Cleveland

Damn, did i miss much?

hahaha, funnily enough that is what i titled the picture on my space as "the farmer look". The shirt is about 4ish years old, but i found it and put it on to work on my bike, and it is nice and soft and keeps me warm

I'll give you poser
