Think i'll be doing the same as most the people on here, and watching it to see if any fit women in. If not i will probably stop watching it, although somehow i always do end up watching it, even when it's boring as sin.

Sounds pretty well set up, looks good for the money too. But get those brakes off. On an unrelated note, I want my Sunday
-
Poopipe in weight saving shocker, i hope you're taking the piss I know it doesn't come in 20.75 which is a pain in the arse, but the Sunday Waves have everything you want minus the tt length, which is a bit shite i know, but no chance you can go reeeeaaaalllll street and get a shorter frame, you know you'd love it? The 20.6 United squad has a 13.75 back end, and is 5.3lbs i think, might be worth a look. Be a real man and get the new Fit edwin, in 20.5, cant get much streeter The Source FBM Stairmaster?

haha. Yeah it feels real nice, manuals feel easier with the dropped bars, and so do hops, im finding with spins that i now spin more flat, so im getting a lot closer to landing 3 hops now. And yeah im running no spacers on The Fit and there's about a 2mm (little more) gap from touching the toptube, so the bars are a lot lower than they were with the Fit brick stem with spacers.
-
Rollersnakes do them. They have also built up their bmx section quite a bit since they first started selling the odd item.

closest you get is burgandy: The source- Fit DLD. Built up the Fit again for the weekend, and obviously put the new stem on, and it feels awesome. I'm running it with no spacers and it just clears the toptube, so it sits real flush, and it feels amazing with the less rise now. Also while im posting, check the Fitbikeco site out for the new S3 Aitken colour, the new brakeless flat blue hawk, and Edwin is currently working on a new colourway for his sig, haawwwt. Fitbikeco Just got some pics of the new stem on the Fit, thought i'd post 'em, and hopefully the next time i'm posting pics it'll be of the Sunday. ECCD seat should be out soonish as well.

I've always tended to use deodorant, but i used WD40 the other day 'cause i was told by someone it works a treat. So yeah, just a little bit of WD40 seems to dry out pretty quick. Times like these you wish you ran MacNeil Silencer XLTs for the anti-throttle grip

Got my Fit DLD stem today, top notch quality and looks real good, nice and light too. As for the Sunday, Alans still haven't recieved it from the distributor now, which is a bit annoying, 'cause it means now the earliest it can come is tuesday
-
haha i know, pretty hefty huh, I didn't think it would be that much either. Well the specs say "100% 4130 chromoly frame", ethier way it's a bit of lard arse. Put in an order a while ago, and the guy seemed to think if we got the order in tomorrow (they were shutting when i rang), then it should be here for the weekend. If it does, the guys at Alans=even more top notch, and i hope i get a lollipop
-
Sounds like it should be good then, but what is the actual weight of the Sunday Wave frames? 'cause i've seen a few different weights from different places like Alans say 5.13lbs, Dans comp say 5.8lbs, and i've seen it at 5.3lbs somewhere else (guessing they've measured different sizes), just so it will give me an idea of my setup with a Sunday frame.
-
Cheers for all the help on the frame geo, i'm deffo gonna go for a 20.5"tt now, and it should defintely be the Sunday as well, in toothpaste . I should hopefully be getting the Fit DLD stem deliverd soon as well (when The Source get them in). Just gotta try and get the money all together for the frame now. I also found out why my bike still weighed in at 27.5lbs even after my (many ) weight whore moments, which is mainly because the frame alone weighs ~7lbs haha, so there should be a nice noticeable change if i get a new one

Im guessing you mean the song after the little intro bit, which is: Fort Minor- Remember the name
-
More get up and go kind of songs, but might be worth a look: Modest Mouse- Dashboard

Yeah it is that size i think. It does just feel a tad long yeah, but then i don't really have much to compare it with. The wheel is slammed now as well, but i just think i might feel more comfortable on something slightly shorter really, like with my frame some moves feel a bit more of an effort (like spins), but then it isn't that light anyway. Plus i like a nice responsive bike, and one that spins easy. As for blagging rides on some other similar geometry wise frames, no can do around here, there really isn't any bmxers close to where i live (apart from the ones that ride down to the car parks to go do some weed). Just rung Alans as well, apparently they don't do brakeless versions, but i swear Dan's comp get them in brakeless, although maybe it's more sensible to get one with lugs, 'cause then if i go down to the local trails spot, i can whack a brake on and ride, instead of sitting and complaining i want to go ride street

Whats the word on the Sunday Wave 07 frames? I've heard a lot of good stuff about them as to being real good quality and very strong, but just wondering if anyone knows much more about them, and is the gurantee they have really as good as it sounds? Basically i'm shifting a few old things at home, and i should hopefully get enough money to be able to get a new frame, so i've been looking about and i've always liked the Sunday Wave, i was also looking at the Fit Hawk, but after reading some rather shite reviews about it being dent crazy and the like, i kinda' got put off. And if i do get one, i'm currently running a 20.75"tt, but it does feel a bit long for some things, so if i was to get a Sunday i was thinking about the 20.5"tt size and i'm about 5 foot 7 (maybe a little more), so does that sound about right?. I know a lot of it is about feel, but its the first time i'd be buying a frame where i can choose the top tube length, so i'm a bit uncertain. And finally, does the Sunday come in a no brake lugs option? Cheers for the time .

Basically what it's saying is that the driver has an external thread, and the clutch is threaded on the inside, so when you turn the cranks forward (thus turning the driver) it causes the clutch to wind up the thread on the driver until it enagages again. Then the other paragraph is explaining how they stop the clutch from moving without the driver. So with the Freecoaster i have (KHE Geisha), the clutch sits on top of two bearings which are seated on either side of the centre spindle, and these bearings have a spring between them, so they push outwards, so when the clutch sits on them it makes it harder for it to slip off, so they create resistance. Try check out this bit: exploded diagrams
-
They are actually really simple to understand once you've seen the guts of one. But check out this webpage, it should help explain it all a little better: free-coaster.com
-
Yeah you can, but because of the axle system used, they aren't as strong as solid axles, so you can but you have to keep an eye on the axles and keep them tight so i don't really want to risk it. But there are solid axles made/being made for them i think. No worries and cheers I don't ride trails really no, i sometimes go down the local spot with a few other bmxers but i don't really ride much 'cause of being brakeless. So for me it's just street really, as there aren't any parks near by. Yeah check the Fit range out here: Alans bmx, might be worth looking at the Fit Hawk. They have a wide range of other frames on there as well. Never ever ever use them, i ordered a few bits from there when i first started bmxing and they took ages to come, and the things they have in stock on their webpage usually aren't in stock, and nor are they getting them in stock in the near future, as i found out with the Odyssey pedals i tried to order from there.
-
Yeah it's because they run a freecoaster, works on a clutch kind of system which disengages when you roll back. Weren't you running a Geisha street? haha scrap that, too late.
-
I tried to work it out with the way i do them, but i'm left foot foward and hop from the pedals into them, so it just made me more confused haha
-
I bought it as a complete, the 06 Fit flow street. Then i've got new bits for it being: KHE Geisha street coaster laced to a Primo balance rim on the rear, Odyssey KC Badger seat (now stripped and re-shaped, 'cause it got torn), old Haro seat post (cut down post, and ground the clamp piece in places, so i can run it upside down under the seat), ground the Seat tube down, MacNeil Silencer XLT bars, 25T brown profile imperial sprocket, a new shiny chain , and i should be getting the Fit DLD stem soon and i might cut the dropouts if boredom kicks in due to the rain again. I think thats coverd it all.
-
Go for it and whack some pictures up on here, i like frames with minimal stickers as possible on them. Oooh and on the sticker note, Source bmx do the best free stickers ever, they put some free United stickers in with an order a while ago, and they also have their new stickers that they give out free (the white ones on my bike) which look real nice
-
haha to be fair i can justify choosing and running every part on my bike, in the means of what it rides like and what i like a bike to ride like, so c'est la vie . As for the chrome slams, it's a big no, and same goes for a stump post. I'm quite proud of my modified haro post set up
