  1. Yeah i couldn't help myself The seat got ripped so i took the cover of 'cause i hate the look of ripped/tatty seats (plus the constant rain the past few days made me turn to adjusting my bike instead of riding it haha) then i reshaped it a little. I swapped the seat post for a different smaller one, then ground it down so i could flip it over and place it under the seat, and i also shortend the seat tube a little bit more. I've got the freecoaster on again as well 'cause as much as i like running a cassette i just preferd the feel of the coaster and the inspiration it can bring to pretty boring riding spots around here, so that also means i'm back to pegless again. Should hopefully have a Fit DLD stem soon, and i might cut the dropouts when i have the time.

I have all the spacers out on mine too, and then i've flipped the washer around so mine is set to maximum slack. Check out the KHE website, then tech support section for a guide on it.

haha yeah they are, but i'd thought i'd try bulk the list out a bit more to persuade you As for the stud system i couldn't of really put it any better than Mark did. But it is insanely simple to do once you've done it once or had it explained (even doing it the first time doesn't really take much brain power at all), so taking it apart then servicing it isn't really a problem.
  4. First off i'm going to repost an old favourite of mine, so watch it if you have the chance: Mosh so freestyle And from the Ride UK webpage: S&M Uk web video (James Cox laying down his double bar spins)

And if that doesn't sway you: 4. It has a better name 5. You can now get wheel builds from Alans: Geisha wheelbuild
  6. By riding i mean bmxing as i haven't rode trials in ages. But song wise: Gang starr - work Little Brother - say it again Eazy E - Real muthaphuckkin G's Three 6 mafia - stay fly
  7. I've made a few more changes, and i got some pictures today so i thought i'd post them. New chain (the shiny one), kept the 25t sprocket on, cut down pegs, the old cassette wheel is back on, and some different barends. And I've also decided not to take anymore pictures of my bike until there are a lot of changes to it haha.

    Bail Lol

Bet that hurt a bit. whats the song as well, sounded pretty good?
  9. The freecoaster is no more (nor the 25t sprocket) I decided to get a new chain (a nice shiny silver one ), and to put the old wheel back on for a bit. The main reason for it was 'cause i want to start doing footjam whips on banks and when i have the freecoatser on, it tended to have a habit of disengageing when i jumped of the pedals and kicked the bike round. So when i went to land back on it, and if my left foot hit the pedal first, the pedals shot round causing me to lose my balance. Or i ended up rolling backwards if i landed both feet at the same time.
  10. I do own one (GU typhoon 20"), but i have kinda' quit now, if not forever, for a long time. Simply 'cause i found a whole new sport that goes by the name of Bmxing, and i find 100 times more fun So yeah, im in two minds whether to just get rid of it totally, or just keep it in the hope that i might start again.

    Bmx Questions

Does anyone have any tips or pointers on hopping into footjam whips. I've got the everything sorted with them, but now i want to learn to hop from the pedals straight into one, instead of quickly pulling one foot over and jamming it into the front tyre. So far i've nearly done it twice, but i find what usually happens is i either jump off the pedals and try to land my left foot on the front tyre, but the bike moves too far forward and i miss the tyre, or land with my foot too far back on the tyre. Or what sometimes happens is i land on the tyre, but for some reason i put my right foot down on the ground after. Any help appreciated Edit: Scrap that, just did one. I found out what i was doing wrong. I wasn't kicking the back end round hard enough, so the bike tended to move forward when i went to land on the front tyre. Well chuffed, bring on the banks
  12. Well in that case make sure you check out Lotek Vancouver if you already haven't. So check it here (granted it's pretty poor quality): Lotek Vancouver

Dead Prez. Here's a youtube link to one of my favourite songs by them: Dead Prez
  16. Cut them down? will i fook They feel amazing, much better than the 24" bars i was running before, so much more control. To be honest i'm pretty happy with it now, so the other stuff can wait a while. Stem wise i think i'm going to wait and see what the Fit DLD is like. And in the mean time i'm going to replace the front innertube, as it is stupidly heavy (one of those really thick raleigh ones), so i'll just repair an old thinner one i've got lying around, and whack that in.

    Quotes!

I have one that i got put on my dog tags, more of a 'grow some balls and just go for it' kind of quote. It goes along the lines of "only those that dare to fail greatly, can ever acheive greatly". Can't remember who it's by, nor where i found it, it was just on some big webpage full of them.
  18. Just got my MacNeil Silencer XLTs today, so i've put them on and had a little ride. First impressions of them were how light they where for their size, it's crazy. On the bike they feel amazing too, give some much more control and feel, and getting the front up feels a lot easy. So all in all well worth the money, top bars . I put my old Fit grips on as well, which are much comfier, as the Ruben's ripped and went all shitty. So here's some pics:

    Msn Being Gay?

It did that to me all the time, so f**king annoying as well. It always happend when me and the gf were either agruing or having a serious conversation as well haha. I didn't really find anyway to sort it either, although signing out and disconnecting our router for a bit then going back on sometimes helped. Other than that i either use to sit it out, while everyone got angry at me, or use the handwriting thing haha.
  20. aaaaa not the walking. My gf decided thats what we were going to do went i went round hers in the morning the other week, even though i hate walking i just went along with it to avoid her getting moody lol. So we ended up walking for ages down some country roads, and she then decides we should turn back and cut through the fields to get back to hers quicker. Anyway we did that, and for about half an hour solid i was getting moaned at for "making her go the wrong way" and because she kept getting stung by nettles, and then 'cause we had to jump some ditch to get across onto the next field, but it was her idea in the first place to cut across them. So in the end i went walking (which i hate) to please her, and she just ended up moaning at me anyway. So yeah never again lol, although i guess a mountain kinda pisses all over some country lane and a few fields
  21. It's because trials-shack got taken down ages ago, look at the date it was posted.

    Bmx Questions

Here: Source Bmx I can't give you the exact link 'cause of the way their webpage works, but just put scerbo into the search bar or go through the menu. And i just noticed for anyone that is consider getting a freecoaster, alans now do a wheel build with a geisha street laced to a primo balance rim (in 36h or 48h) with your choice of spokes and a free innertube and rim tape, bargain: Alan's bmx

    Bmx Questions

You can do them either way really with freecoasters. But if you watch riders like Bruce Crisman where he fakie bunnhops a silly amount of stairs they do it the normal way and bring the front up first as you get lots more height and its easier, but yeah you can do it the other way like nose manual a bit then hop, but it is much harder to get height that way.
  25. I was thinking about this the other day; wouldn't a round/triangular spoke key be pretty usefull if you put it on your middle finger, then held it tightly so when you hit something it didn't squish back onto your finger? So as well as being a handy tool for taking with you when you're out riding, it can also help if you get into trouble. Either way though that really does suck, and it's pretty worrying stuff.
