Thanks man, yeah I can smell the wheelspin coming out of corners from here haha. If I was lighting up the tyres at curby with 170bhp god knows what this going to be like hahaha Haha that's on my list to sort out. Admittedly one of the most annoying things to sort out as the ecu doesn't have any mounting holes. Something to have a think about though. Yeah gone for the clean oem look under the bonnet. No lairy colours or anything. Thanks for the comment though, are you feeling OK? You've liked a few of my posts recently and I'm not sure if you're building something up inside????

Thank you mate, I started it up earlier and my girlfriend who was on 2 floors above sent me this on whatsapp as its so loud. hahahah Okay, so slightly bigger update whilst waiting for tea to cook! Will start from the beginning as above was just a sort of finished pic. Started mocking up the boost pipes Brembos are fitted too, just running standard pads for now until payday then i'll upgrade Bumper on just to see what it looks like Then went for tea and to the comedy night with the mrs! Had to get in the middle of this (not literally sadly) Went to nandos for the first time with the girlfriend and nearly died trying this. Got used to it and doused my whole meal in it hahah, lovely stuff Today involved finishing the boost pipes and aerocatches so first things first, drive to the post office to collect some goodies Fitted the BOV adapter Then started on the pipework Fitted the lower pipe and protected it with some heat wrap just for fretting reasons Same with the top. Pikey? maybe. Protected? yesssssssssssssssssssss BOV fitted, just need some jubilees to sort it Slam panel fitted with a bit of modifying for the boost pipe. Just a bit of angle grinding action Then made a start with the aerocatches One done, was really easy. Took about 15 mins Both done Then the engine bay with the bonnet open  Needless to say i'm rather happy with the progress today and yesterday, still got a few little bits and bobs to do now like fit EPAS, sort out a proper dogbone, bleed brakes and clutch and sort out the accelerator pedal but it's all fairly easy stuff. Got a fire extinguisher to affix somewhere too. Cheers, hope everyones having a good weekend.

Thanks george, really nice of you to say mate. Thanks Harry, I've got two days with work at curby then I'll be going to clio sport festival late Aug time, you should come to that mate. Its always been the best weekend of the year for me, trackday through the day, beers at night. Then I'll hopefully get a few more under my belt this year but Im going to dubai and got another holiday planned so not sure when I'll be able to really!

Brembos fitted this afternoon along with the boost pipes. Shit is definitely getting very real very quickly! Aerocatches tomorrow along with other bits and bobs. Made my own pipe bead roller too put of vice grips, an m10 washer and an exhaust clamp and a welder. Worked a f**king treat. Probably already mentioned it.

Not sure mate. Didn't properly check. Will do when I go through with it though. Came to bed at 1.30 this morning. Same again tonight as I get so much shit done. Last night I fitted the bigger turbo, new gaskets all around. Ran the intercooler pipework some more and fitted the coil pack bracket, riv nutted it as I don't like nuts and bolts.its coming together now, driveshafts are both fitted too.

Yeah that was going to be my next question actually. Its the same capacity engine just emission changes. Also covered between track days too with this policy. As in driving to and from so that's nice.
-
That was with Adrian flux mate. But through a modified car policy through them. Well impressed I'm surprised as I'm 24 with 5 ncb! That's with the car declared as worth £7k too. Think my area helps as I'm surrounded by weirdly big houses and a fair few amgs.
-
Just phoned up my insurance declaring absolutely everything with the turbo to get it ready. £375 for the year. What a f**king bargain!!!!
-
Yes it is Danny, it's a direct fit too yeah.

Anymore plans for the car Harry? Bet it feels so good with the lsd. I'm jealous
-
That's the best kind of game!

Didn't you used to slate Sam for his shitty descriptions haha
-
Oh you mean the welded cage feet that I specifically bought a welder for? Yeah maybe. Let's not be too bitter though mate eh!
-
Post it mate. Be interesting to see what you said.

Remember your ranting post before about all the little issues and stuff? This is the pervert example of why you shouldn't bodge cars and sort it properly. Next you'll be complaining "ohhhhhhh myyyy goddddd this piece of shit cars exhaust mounts have broken" cause and effect and all that. Also be worth checking out the recent news article about the couple poisoned by exhaust gas. Do things right for f**ks sake.

Found out the other day before firing the Turbo has in and out play. Did some man maths and going for Megane 250 turbo now. More money to spend but it means the car will be good for 300bhp internals can take it well too. Another 20 bhp and I'll be wanting upgrades but I'm not going down that route. Next car for me is an m3 e46 I've decided.

Project car is nearly finished. Just £800 left to spend..

Jesus. Makes me grateful for my mechanical engine on the lupo. It's so cheap to run. I just have to look a c unt driving it.
-
Speaking of which... So it cranks and starts then over the f**king mooooooooooooon. First fire as well https://youtu.be/2NCyDsr5bV0

Heard quite a few people over heating with these conversions so I want to take every precaution really!
-
Nowhere near finished yet.. It's for the coolant radiator not the intercooler. Need to make some holes.

Haha that's Renault oem believe it or not. haven't touched that bit. Cheers!

I got my false floor yesterday so started drilling that. It's not real carbon as you can tell but it actually looks quite decent in person. I'm raising that up with lots of alu spacers i've got. Today I did quite a lot in terms of wiring prep and other bits and bobs... Fitted the ABS pump. For those who may have missed it - i'm using this as a speedo pick up Become a bit of a tart lately and you've got to do things right, got the wire brush wheel on the drill to tidy it up on top as it had corrosion Then fitted the lambda Started on the loom properly, had to source the carbon canister wiring and connect a connector and wiring to that for the N75 Tidier? maybe, can't remember why I took this pic hahah Fitted the fuse box, connected that up Then installed the battery junction box and fitted the right ring terminal on the +ve Excuse the horrible scratches, must have been from taking the engine out before. I will get them touched up Taped up some wires some more as not keen on the coloured wires showing Next plan is to fit the oil cooler, coilpack and plugs , top up with oil and see if it fires up! So excited now as it's so close. Bought decent oil tonight along with a new radiator. Not uprating the rad just buying a new one as mine is smashed to f**k so that won't help with cooling. The oil cooler will help massively.
