Is The Chris King Tool Worth The Money

Do you service your/your friends hubs regularly (at least once a month)?

Do you own a bike shop?

Are you a professional bike mechanic who deals with CK hubs regularly?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then I would have said it was probably worth it, if not then the chances are you could get away with sending it to Tarty for a £10 service every time you think it needs one.

Don't send it to Tarty, there's no need. On the left hand side of the hub theres a lockring with a really small bolt in it. Youll need a 3/32 imperial sized allen key which you can get hold of easily (as Grant said). Then you need to take your wheel out of the frame undo the bolt and tighten the ring as tight as you can with your fingers, then do the bolt back up.
