I don't reckon it was fake. Pretty convinced he was trying to get a line down and kept cocking up the last trick (whether it was meant to be a turndown, or a table, or tailwhip or whatever.

Yea, looks like it had a weak spot....But then BMX frames probably aren't tested or made to withstand strain or impact to the front.... So maybe the top welds aren't done well....

but there are people out there doing flips to nosepicks, surely the extra momentum due to rider weight would deliver a bigger impact then a ghost.

i'm sure when i rode my bmx got just as heavy front impacts and survived undamaged.

another vote for a poor product or already badly fatigued. (although steel tends to bend and crack lots before failure)

but i love the reaction, it like the guys who filmed the veryon driven into the lake, 'shiiiT, shiiiiiiiiiiiT, Holy ShiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiT'
