alextheferret Posted January 16, 2010 Report Share Posted January 16, 2010 Unless I havent read this thread properly. Have you tried putting them on without anything yet? My grips took about 20 minutes of twisting and pushing them on and eventually they were on perfectly. They haven't slipped at all since. It hurts your hands alot putting them on though! I use hairspray, because I have it lying about the house, put a set on today, just do a light spray top and bottom of your bar, then a little just inside the lip your going to push in.... mata22 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Share Posted January 17, 2010 as ali said ,clear laquer spray, is te best, i puted them once with laquer spray (on my dirt bike) but i didn had enough for other pair of grips ( on my trial bike), so i used coca cola, and it works great, put some coca cola on bar then put grips on and leave it for 5 min and when it is glued it wont rotate Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
