pashley-phil Posted January 15, 2011 Report Share Posted January 15, 2011 (edited) Here's my new frame a zoo piranha 2011 I rode it last night and it's truly amazing, the chain tensioner idea is sooo cool The bike rides really smooth, love it SPEC: Frame: zoo piranha Forks: trialtech hs33 Stem: trialtech sport forged Handle bars: trialtech Sport riser bars with animal bikes Edwin Delarosa grips Headset: black Chris king headset with trialtech headset spacers BB: echo push fit thingy Cranks: try-all Isis with trialtech sport screw on Bash: try-all symatrik Pedals: dmr v12 magnesium Chain: kmc 710 with half link Front wheel: white try-all rim black spokes gold hope pro 2 Rear wheel: white try-all rim black spokes gold Chris king with trialtech sport light sprocket Tyres: try-all stiky front and rear Brakes: 08 hs33 rawed and polished with standard 2 finger levers and magura braided hoses Brake mounts: echo tr black on the front and gu rawed / polished on the rear Pads: Phatpad black backing with phat pads on front and Phatpad chrome backing with lgm pads rear Brake booster: revell gold 2 bolt Here's some pictures: it's showing gold zoo bars but I have since changed these for my polished trialtech ones Edited March 16, 2011 by pashley-phil Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mark W Posted January 16, 2011 Report Share Posted January 16, 2011 Almost all photos of Deng builds appear to have half-link chains on, so it's possible they just didn't realise it meant with a normal chain you'd need a half-link. The 2011 Pure is spot-on with a standard chain, so I assume they made the Piranha to have a slightly longer back end and that's just how it ended up. pashley-phil Posted January 17, 2011 Author Report Share Posted January 17, 2011 (edited) Cheers for the good comments guys Few updated pictures, I'm really happy with it now Forgot to add that I changed the front phat backings to black ones and the echo clamps I changed to black ones. I changed the rear echo clamps for some gu ones which I rawed and polished and the phat backing got changed to chrome.
