I'm looking for some new HS33 pads which will be used on a dead grind probably with tar and was considering some echo TR orange brake pads as someone was selling them on the forum, anyone used them before? or should they be avoided? if they should, suggest/offer me some pads, don't have alot of money though.

Heatsink blues, smooth rim and no tar is an amazing set up. Any pads will work with tar exept phat pads, they just tend not to work regardless your set up lol. :P Heatsink yellows work very well on a dead grind as well.

I was going to ask the same question. I've heard Heatsink Snowys are decent on smooth rims and in both dry and wet conditions, anyone got experience with them? I ask because I seem to keep getting caught out in the rain. My old blacks are useless in the rain.

I have used rockman greens on a smooth rim which are fairly good, now using heatsink yellows on a dead grind and they are much better (been told they are also ace on a smooth rim), and the wear rate is miles better than the rockman greens! as said above any pad on a smooth rim (without tar) in the rain = fail!
