thanks, probably gonna go with some rubber lock on ones, I have had foams before on bmx's , and they just didnt feel right.

Were they thick?

Trials specific ones tend to be much more thin, giving you a nicer feeling handlebar.

I used to swear by rubber until I gave in and bought some trialtech foams (thin ones)

Best decision I've ever made!!!

yea they were quite thick ones, my hands just felt that they were slipping around on them, but the trial tech foams are only £6 on tartybikes, might order some tommorow to try.

I personally believe the only place for foam grips is on a £10 tesco scooter.

haha, that's what I thought, but there seems to be quite alot of people using foams on here.

A lot of people tend to go for foams (trial techs or something) but I find onza porcipaws most comfortable. It's all personal preference. There are so many options like thick, thin, soft, firm, foam, rubber, lock-on and so on.

I use these, I have the thin version and despite being 'thin' they are very comfortable. I suppose they are foam grips, but I'm not sure what they are like compared to normal foam rubber grips as never I've used them.

Ooooooh beef. We are all entitled to an opinion.

P.S. I'm not trying to start anything, I just believe foams aren't comfy and porkies are. I also ride with gloves which changes the feel a lot. The only reason I use grips at all is... well grip on the bars. I like as little squidge but as much comfort as possible which the porcipaws provide and foams don't.

Riding foams with gloves just feels odd to me and I can't explain much more than that.
