pashley pro
hi i was looking at putting sus forks on my bike but what is the lowest travel you can get and where and how much are these forks .thanks
MrMonkey
I thought you could adjust the amount of travel forks had, so I would of thought you could have any forks and just adjust it. But I may be very very wrong.
Dr. Nick Riviera
get some mx comps and follow the tutorial on www.ryanleech.com to reduce the travel to 80mm
sfboy
Get a really old XC fork pretty light and you might be lucky to get a whole 30mm of travel; unless they snap then you'll get a whole 3 foot!
Dr. Nick Riviera
for 30mm you just run a low tyre pressure

Jonny Jones
I just ran Marzocchi MX Comp Air's out of the box. Altered the air pressure in them and I was good. I was confused with the travel, CRC said 80mm, the box said 85mm. Didnt bother me, was great for street and you could still tap to back wheel with them. Im back with rigid now and having the time of my life haha! I may swap back and forth with the sus and rigid, keeps things interesting! Good luck with getting ur sus sorted! :shifty: :P Jonny. N.Wood
Bah... not the same is it?! (Y)" Surely no one shops at Asda anymore anyways? Anywho, back on topic...
Dai the Socket
Can't you get some with remote lock-out which'll take it down to like 20mm? Some Marzocchi ones? Nick (Y)
Ross W.
We don't get those in the mother land. ← Be thankful. Can't you get some with remote lock-out which'll take it down to like 20mm? Some Marzocchi ones? Nick (Y) ← Reckon ye can. Dunno if it would be worth spending the money on though, as the Marzocchi's are expensive and designed for XC. Plus, twenty millimetres? what's the point? run lower tp if that's all you want. rigid is so much cooler anyways.
RobinJI
If you get a set of MX comp ETAs then there standard travel can be set to 80mm and if you flick the ETA switch then it reduces down to 30mm.
peter l
perhaps a fox fork? theyre supposed to be the best and u can really lower and fork i think by adding spacers or different springs. rock shock pikes are nice aswell lowered

andyzplace
:P if you put them on your megamo then you will snap it :) get a street bike to ride street, puttin a 13t cog, seat and forks on a megamo is a waste
