Brake Pads

hey i'm lookin for some maggy pads for my ashton 24" as some of you know i'm more of a streety rider and manuals are they way to lok good!

but,,,,i'm lookin for smoething to bite on the ups that i'm doin.

i'm a big lad like my big/fast moves

suggest and why?

oh and a really bitey front pad for v's

Who ever suggested Plazmatic on the rear for manuels is umm (Y)"

For the front: Koolstop cartridge ones, orange and black, not sure on details but there seriously great.

Rear: New style koolstops, on a grind, they do hold, I use tar often too.

i ran plazzies and manueld more than i rode it on 2 wheels...

as bongo said...get good!

what be thies koing pads.....?

If your using tar then you mite as well go back to magura black/red they will do the same with tar.  Alternatively get some decent pads.

sorry to sound out of danny but zoo pads kick ass when used on smooth rim and with a tad of tar or even no tar.

the zoo pads i have tried are pretty good - i like them. That was on a clean rim.

But the whole point if you are using tar - there is no point in using expensive brake pads, you may as well use the standard maggie pads or some just some cardboard/pear/bit of old tire as pads. because its the tar that does all the stopping.
