if u dont get it, just sack that off and go to a buildng site and be a labourer for a year, then try again for the brick laying next year. youll be earning £200+ a week as a labourer(most places pay between £5-£7 as a labourer round here anyway, and £13 on sats and sundays seems to be the goin rate), ive seen proper zombies working as labourers, the people that cant string a sentence together. so youll get a job no hastle, so youll have money coming in. youll be learning about the building trade. and youl be getting beefcake while your doing it, as its hard manual work, meaning youll be strong, and those jeans will be even tighter on you.

Well, i work at the local leisure centre, its crappy pay cause its owned/run my the school.

But if i can work there and not get the sack, so can you!

You basically just do odds n ends jobs, cleaning, setting up goals etc, sometimes i have to go sit in the gym and make sure everythings ok in there, i also help run kids partys yay!!

Working there can also help you go on to other jobs, duty manager, manager, coach, fitness instructor etc.

Its something if your inerested.

Hope i could help :)

Well, got an email today.....

saying garden centre want someone for manual work, collecting compost bags for people and taking to car, also general garden centre work.

6 month contract starting in march......hours are like 8.30am-5.30pm (6.00pm in summer) monday to friday, which is good....

wage is £4.45 per hour....i thought i shud be on £5.35 an hour as im 18???

Also Australia flights are booked for 24th august....and contract finishes end of August....so do i tell them i could do up to like 20/22nd of august?

And about the wages, i know its a pound lower, but do i risk missing this job and maybe not getting one for ages?

It would bring in £225 without tax etc a week, not bad.

Plus is a like being outside and manual work :)

Oh ye i know it sounds good, moving about on you feet, not sitting down anywhere :)

Apprently £4.45 is minimum wage for 18-21, thought it was £5.35, which is apparently for 22 and over.

Got interview friday morning (Y) i'll just say i booked holiday for august time for month or two in Oz, hopefully ok *fingers crossed*
