Hope Mono Trial Not Fitting

Recommended Posts

your wheel is not dished enough to clear that caliper, or the distance from flange to flange is to great. you may need to to get a new hub or get you wheel re dished. i would get it dished first and see how it works.

quando? its from halfords then?

if ur using a brake with such power on a cheap hub then ur likely to rip the disc away from the hub.

i reccomend getting a better hub and getting it built into the wheel

Quando, the same people who make high-end hubs for monty and megamo? :turned:

They are famous for that problem, 2001 magura louises were one of the few brakes that fitted. You could probably get an avid mechanical in there too if you wanted.

Yeh monty used to use simply quando branded hub's now they use quando hubs which are monty branded. The try-all mod hub's are exactley the same, except the axel length and spacers are a little bigger than on the monty/qouando's.

They also made hub's for mission bike's too, they made a 48 spoked wheel for their 'trials pro'
