I started jetski racing as a kid and carried on for several years until 2012. Managed to win 6 British champs, last 4 in a row. I was after a new challenge, always loved bikes as my Dad was in the TRF when I was growing up. I got into mx, and slowly got into enduro/hare & hounds. I then discovered extreme enduro and from there discovered trials as a good form of practice. This time last year I purchased an old 98 gasgas 250. Ridden a few times, realised I love the sport! Not sure if it helps enduro or not, dont care either way as I just love the sport. I purchased a good as new 13 sherco 250 in jan this year. I then discovered Oset's and began retailing them in my shop. From there, the EM 5.7 and from that I now own/run one of those.What's the deal with andy at trials central? When i started with the Oset's, I emailed them to ask if I could pay to advertise. No response. So I made a post asking who to contact to advertise, post got deleted! I then emailed asking if I was stepping on someones shoes, maybe another oset dealer was advertising on there? Irrelivant as all the dealers are well spaced and fixed to same prices, but still no response. I then did a post saying why wont anyone respond even if its a no!? Again post got deleted.Taking the hint, I carried on using the site to post here and there and local trials etc. I also enjoyed commenting on the electric bike section and given some guys advice on their bikes and whats new etc. I made the mistake, which I agree is agains their rules of mentioned im a dealer and for someone to contact me if they need anything. This post got deleted. I then contacted andy, apolagised and he explained the rules to me. I again asked if I could pay to advertise, still no response.From that, I was chatting to someone about the EM and mentioned im a dealer for them. I didnt give out my shops name, address, phone number or even location. Then this post got deleted and every post I ever put on there. I asked andy why, he said Im still promoting my business? Which I wasnt, just mentioned that I have one to back up my advice a little. I then got completly banned from the forum and have had no response since from andy. I made an account with a different name (naughty) and I just wanted to post on there about how to help my 7 year old on a bit with her riding, and this whole post also got deleted along with all the replies.If rules are rules then fine but other shops are on there with their business name as their forum name, and theres countless posts from others promoting businesses.Anyway, Im here because I like trials and want to talk about it, gain advice and experience and maybe give a little back.
