As with most stuff they've changed the formulation of Hammerite in recent years. Now you can recoat it anytime. It used to be the case if you didn't recoat it with X hours you had to wait X days before you could.

Quite a few people have said hammerite. Last time i used it on the mini though it was shite and didn't last 2 minutes.

Lots of stuff will have constant live. Ecu, sidelights, radio, hazards, interior light, clock etc etc. Shouldn't cause an issue though. On another note does anyone have any experience in painting brake callipers in a non chav manor? I.e oem silver/black. If so what paint did you use?

Buy genuine and be careful where you buy them. All the 'genuine' ones on eBay will be fakes. Go to somewhere like Amazon and make sure it's sold by them not someone else.
