  1. Looks pretty cool that. Don't sell it.
  2. My rear axle snapped and the bearings felt rough after a while. Managed to get an axle turned down in work but the tolerances the lad applied were shady. Ended up having to wrap tin can round it to stop it from rattling around the ID of the cartridge. I also had a Ti cog on it which was stuck fast which I needed to get off to replace a spoke. Ended up grinding it off and f**king about an eigth of the threads on the hub. :/ the new cog went on reet though and still lasted for another year before I sold the wheel. It had properly been through the wars but putting up with it's shoddy reliability in the end outwayed the attraction of how light it was, so I let it go. True story that.
  3. Not my flavour muther rudder!
  4. I'd rather be gasping for air in a dutch oven than vape.
  5. There's also a common misconception that you have to run lower tyre pressures when riding natural. Thats not the case. I actually run higher pressures! Bouncing your front wheel off pointy rocks is going to get you a pinch at lower pressures. Trials tryes are grippy enough without having to run them at 5psi. A bit about body position. To maintain stamina, when resting between moves, keep your arms/legs out of tension/compression (dont know the right word to use?) as much as possible. If I have stopped and Im spotting a line, ill keep my arms and legs straight.
  6. The Agony Aunt? As has been said, arm pump comes on a lot quicker riding natural, mainly because you rely heavily on using your brakes to keep you staying put. So try and ride using your brakes only when you need to. Instead of holding on your brakes to stop you from rolling backwards, keep the pressure on your leading foot just enough that you don’t roll backwards/forwards. It also might help if there is another rock to lean/wedge your front wheel against to stop you from going anywhere. Being "good on two wheels" also counts for a lot. Being able to hop around on rocks on the back wheel is fine enough, but when the situation comes where you can’t do that, you need to be able to know exactly where both your contact points are for your tyres. For example, if you pedal kick forwards to place your front wheel on a rock, you need to make sure you know where your back wheel is going to land at the same time. Situational awareness is key. Going back to what I was saying about using your brakes. Try to use either one or the other. If you're on the back wheel, there’s no need for grabbing a load of front brake - building up arm pump for no reason. Same goes when you're going through a section on two wheels - often there’s no need to use the back brake, conserving your energy in that arm for when you really need it.
  7. After evicting my tenant, removing all his possessions from my property and leaving everything on the street to soak in the rain, he threatened me with court action. My bum hole was pinching that day I tell you. Nothing ever came of it though. You'll be reet.
  8. Shizaaam http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/race-face-bb-conversion-kit-83-68-73mm/rp-prod8243
  9. Nothing massive but nice and clear pictures http://lm-images.smugmug.com/GALLERIES/Trials-Photoshoot-/
  10. TBT of Ali in Buthiers. 2007 I think?
  11. Summit to do, innit?
  12. Speedrace did hubs like that. Its not a comp bike but Danny Macs hydroformed Skye (when it had carbon cranks on it) was pimp as fu**.
  13. I have no idea how these Vape shops stay open. Every time I go past one on the high street, they're empty. Dont people just mail order their sh*t? These places must be selling a fu*k tonne of 0.4mm vape cable to stay open.
  14. Was cool seeing a video with lots of straight up to backs. Some smooth gapping styles in there.
  15. Theres a set of sloped walls I practice on which have a "soft" edge to them. So when I start on back wheel, I'd be further away than if it was just a normal vertical wall. Some how, I seem to be able to side hop higher on this wall than any other. I think part of it is the soft edge which lets me fail without smashing me or my bike too much. I think im gapping up to two wheels instead of jumping straight up.
  16. The font looks too static. The current Intense sticker on the swing arm at least makes the bike look like its going fast.
  17. Once its stripped back, are you going to find some stickers for it? I think it needs some
  18. Do you know anyone who does walnut shell blasting? Its softer than sand and bead blasting.
  19. I substitute bb spacers for axle spacers. Spaces the crank out from the bb. Means theres plenty of threads on the bb cups
  20. Ive copied it from facebook then uploaded to photobucket then pasted in here. So sorry about the grainy quality.
  21. I'll admit, I had to watch the you tube clip to get the wording correct.
  22. Getting my curved manuals dialed.
