  1. Enjoyed that guys. Loving DWs BHs.
  2. Ive had enough of your chat now. GTFO.
  3. A set of screw on cranks, a Trial Tech 22 tooth Screw on sprocket, and Bobs y'er Aunty! Cant get much cleaner than that? Ive seen some people grinding off the bash guard tabs on 4 bolt XC cranks which looks ok if done well. That MRP bash wouldn't be too bad with a 22 front sprocket set up, would it?
  4. Exactly, something like that! The clear bash would make it less noticable too. Or if you're into your bling it could come in tie-die like Stan Ti bolts!
  5. Maybe if you were doing drop gaps to bash, like a weird mix of Damon Watson and Ryan Leech. Obviously a lot of people bash the feck out of their bikes. But for some, who rarely fall onto their bash but still want a little bit of security, a BB mounted bash could be an option?
  6. I know of a few people who use BB mounted bash guards. The mtb world used to (and some still do) mount their chain guides and bash guards in-between their drive side bottom bracket cup and the frame. Has anyone done this in the trials world? First time I seen it done was on Ali C's bike, where he mounted a Trial Tech half Ti guard, so that when he was riding switch foot, he still had coverage if he slipped onto his cranks & FW. Advantages are, having the weight of a half guard and the coverage of a full one. I also think it looks pretty fly. So if you have a BB mounted bash mod, post up a picture of your set up for us all to see. I think there's a niche in the market for a 22 tooth bb mounted bash. Get on it someone!
  7. I think the use of 4 pads is actually more to do with stiffening up the caliper. The caliper has a join in the middle, where the normal "2 pads design" would have a securing pin.
  8. forgot about the near OTB at the end.
  9. Drop off the rail to manual was awesome. I'm headng out there in a couple of weeks! It's going to be splendid.
  10. Aye aw right you up side down triangle.
  11. So the MT7s are rocking (pun intended) 4 separate brake pads. I can’t thing ok of any advantages this could bring to a trials brake??
  12. Greg, you've come a long way from leaving your sleeping bag and brake pads on the train, eh Proud of you
  13. Would it be the case that in the future, the price of the frames would come down? Or is the excuse of "testing" going to be wheeled out everytime?
  14. Its amazing how much better the Console looks next to all the Ozonys and TMS bikes. Also, 3.52. Worst attempt at a catch ever. And that "street course". I'd be pretty angry if I went to Buthiers to ride that. Liked the up to front 90 to two wheel jam thing the power rangers were doing.
  15. You do realise, although hobbits are small, they have massive hairy feet?
  16. What are the flippin chances, eh?
  17. Bet it's light too! Liking the look of the brakes!
  18. Same reason he doesn't use the hope brakes which come as standard. Sponsors provide parts to use, so I guess Ali just works out in his deals what he rides? And I guess its personal preference too?
  19. Was that in reference to the cake? I had made up 4 big chicken, bacon, cheese and salad wraps to keep me going, ontop of some Go-gels (which I usually hate the thought of using but swallowed my pride) but ate three of them on the train on the way up. Doh! I stopped at Rowardenan and had a big munch from one of the stands at the Sportive event. Best "festival food" ive ever had.
  20. To be fair, there's not much planning required. I knew the route, I packed for cold and warm weather, charged the batteries and off I popped.
  21. *riders be like, look around, slowly turn bars back to Damon Watson angle.
