  1. I was a little bit disappointed in the riding... I'm also pretty jealous of the skate park! Don't people get annoyed with you doing stationary type stuff in there?
  2. My brakes don't really work in the rain but I like the fact that it makes me do stuff without using them. The main reason I don't like the rain is that I use foam grips, and the water soaks straight through to the hair spray and then they swivel freely round the bars until I take them off and hair spray them again...
  3. Nice. Music unusual but not unpleasant, riding entertaining!

    Twice

Brilliant video! Loved everything about it. Class. Makes me want to ride.
  5. Well, I watched it as if it was a normal bike video and enjoyed it. The riding did get a bit repetitive, which is something I always criticise boring TGS videos for, but I still prefer manuals to side hops so I prefer this option. A mix would be even better... Anyway I quite like seeing it all done on a trials bike, mostly because I wish I was this good at manuals and spins and stuff on my trials bike so it kind of gives me hope. Although I wouldn't say I aspire to doing literally nothing but manuals and spins. I couldn't get my head around the dramatic music/capes billowing in the wind aspect very well but it's not too hard to ignore so I guess life could be worse.
  6. Cheers for posting those, never seen them and loved them! He reminds me quite strongly of how I ride (but better), he has the eternally sketchy vibe down to a tee! The bike does look pretty odd, he makes it look like it's smaller then 24" in the top video, it did look a bit short when he was gapping and that's coming from somebody whose bike is 1040 with hardly any stem... Anyway loved the riding. I've got the urge to go for a night session now!
  7. There were some really cool lines near the start with that sloping red thing about 1.30, but then it kind of lapsed into the usual same old trials stuff. Definitely feeling the 70s vibe though!
  8. Wow, I had never seen the Felix Mucke video before (amongst a couple of others). Thank you kindly!
  9. Gilly and I are fresh back from uni so we're hitting the streets of Ramsgate tomorrow afternoon. Anybody is welcome to join! Give us a shout or hunt us down. Peace out
  10. You been riding Herne Bay and I missed it? Nice video in fact. Cool moves, and classic stack at the end. You have got a lot better since I saw you last! (I have got worse) You should make a proper video. Hopefully will see you out riding again one day!
  11. So lately Gilly has been an unstoppable video editing machine, here is another one! This time it's the best stuff we've got together from recent times riding, over Easter in Ramsgate, and some more stuff here in Southampton. There's more of Gilly cos I missed quite a few months riding when I hurt myself a few times so I haven't been practising my skills so much. The riding here is generally in the streety street category cos that's where it's at yo. (and I found that I have somewhat lost the ability to hop... sshhh...) Trials-Forum Video -> Full View • Download • Upload Enjoy, comments always welcome.
  12. Sorry, have to be somewhere from 12 so not gonna happen this time...
  13. Really enoyed that! I was worried it would just be the usual big stuff but it was really imaginative riding with some brilliant moves and lines... almost made me want to stop just doing manuals all the time and get better at trials.
  14. Soundtrack was a bit loud and distorted for some reason... but I loved the riding, some great lines and general coolness!
  15. Haha so it is working... (Thanks by the way!)
  16. Wow didn't know it would make a magic topic! I might add some words...
  17. It was the last day before we went back to uni, so a Ramsgate ride was in order. The elusive Clem Craig came all the way from Folkestone to blow us out of the water on his sweet sweet Pashley! A good time was had by all, with the possible exceptions of the Ramsgate natives who fell victim to punctures, front brakes breaking off, snapped chains and the like... Trials-Forum Video -> Full View • Download • Upload Oh, mostly filmed by me and mostly edited by Gilly. Watching back it kinda makes me laugh that the one thing no-one filmed at the spot at 3 mins was the gap itself... we are trials riders, honest! You comments are most appreciated
  18. Like it! Brilliant riding and all the more impressive for snow value! Didn't your camera mind the wetness? Curb gap got properly sessioned!
  19. Hey great to see a video of you! 5 minutes of natural is a bit much for me but very impressive riding and really well shot and edited I thought. Hope your ankle is healing like it should.
  20. Pretty much the best ride ever! Video to follow.
  21. Forecast looks good. It's all going off in Ramsgate tomorrow no joke! Next thing you know Jack will be out riding.
  22. Grandmaster Clem said he should be able to come about 2 o'clock, sounds like a plan to me!
  23. Oh yes I can feel a Ramsgate coming on. Can you? (If the weather's alright)
  24. Get out on your bike and find out! I think it usually looks a bit wrong when people do that kind of stuff on mods but that's just aesthetic, I'm sure it's still great fun. Good luck with x-ups on a mod stem though!
