My REAR rim's on the way out. Put a big fold in it yesterday. Got a 36h Pro II that I don't want to - and can't afford to - change. Preferably want a wider rim, as I tried one out for a bit, and much prefer it. (Currently running one of those 29mm Rhyno Lites :erm: ) Was thinking Trialtech, but they're 32 only. Then thought Spank, but they're also 32 hole only. Any suggestions? 38mm would be lovely, but anything over 29 is applicable (Yes... Looked on tarty etc - just wondered if there's any unsung underdog's about.) Ta

Heatsink Snowies/Yellows. I'd get snowies - but heard lots of good things about yellows. I tried TNN yellows, AND greens, and both were shit, for me. Bad batch - maybe, but they were only mediocre, and wore down fast as shit.

My mind still boggles at trying to understand how you guys think that validates him running a business shoddily. I don't expect to top what Mr. Jones said - I'm pretty sure he know's what he's talking about BUT - incase you can't get that one to work, or whatever - I've been using AVC for a while without issues Go with what JJ said though - I'm inexperienced - and the quality on certain conversions ain't too hot in this one. As I understand it (which isn't all that well ) - a shorter one will just be a bit more responsive to turning, and longer will be a tad more stable - pretty similar to bikes, thinking about it, though the longer ones are more stable at speed, rather than on the back wheel I've only been 3-4 times, so I could be completely wrong, though.

I rode a guys mod a little while ago. Was crazy spoke patterns. Front disc side - 3x Front driveside - snowflake Rear disc side - snowflake (edit - not a rear disc used though) Rear driveside - 3x Looked cool as f**k, and didn't feel too bad. My wheels are generally a bit loosely built though, so I guess that's not a fair test He's been running it for ages. 18 months ish.
