  1. How tall are you? I haven't checked it for sure - but I've heard several people say they're 1150mm wheelbase.
  2. C'mon... Who really does that, anyway? Looks decent, I reckon. Though a proper knurl, leaving little diamonds there would be better Pads wouldn't last long on one of them though :\
  3. A little strange... I didn't like the video - but I loved the riding and the music
  4. Christ. I'm not a high BB enthusiast - but that has quite a considerable drop I thought they were like... -5/0 Nice though. Considering going old-skool. Look way more fun.
  5. Not ordered from them in a good long time - but when I have done in the past - no issues atall.
  6. Can't say I've ever heard of him.
  7. VERY cool. Great find - really enjoyed that.
  8. Is there such a thing as "intermittent insomnia"? I think it's a pretty awesome sounding name for what I'm experiencing I overslept, resulting in me getting into hella-shit at work yesterday, but other than that, I've had 8 hours of sleep over the past 5 nights. Not through lack of being tired - just can't sleep.
  9. Just for extra reassurance, I'll say the same as everyone else. It makes no difference - but if more people say it, it'll encourage you to keep trying. It IS just practice. Gotta find that balance point, and just get the knack of those little hops to recover balance. That's a good point actually. If you lift the front wheel up, and get to a point on the back wheel but start to tip over, hop the back wheel forwards/backwards/sideways according to which way you're falling. This'll correct your balance a bit, and - if you get it right - stop the front wheel from going down. Arms cocked, but not bent too much. Straight arms makes it SO much harder than it need be
  10. Haha. This thread made my morning
  11. Only way I can see stationary/moving making a difference, is if it's spinning fast on the way up, then lock the brake off when you're running out of momentum. Centrifugal force'll send it pivoting 'round the front a little bit extra. Same as what some people do for taps, but in reverse

    Frames

Stock = 26" wheel Mod = 20/19" wheel. I'm a little surprised this naming hasn't spread into Europe
  13. I'm curious. I'd never have it done myself - the idea REALLY doesn't appeal to me - but these punches in the cartellige (sp?)... Has anyone who's got them noticed any difference in hearing? The pinna is crazy important for collecting sound, directing more of it into the cannal via reflections, as I understand it. If you're taking a part of it out, and putting something in the way of more of it, it's bound to make some sort of difference. Question is, can you NOTICE the difference?
  14. Waiting on the Effect. Do want. Also want some geo info
  15. Doesn't matter. If the bike doesn't adapt to the situation, you will.
  16. ANOTHER bike? Hahaha. Good effort. Get a video out on it a.s.a.p please. Love your videos P.S - Glad to see you're back on a mod
  17. Gee.... Would sure like some geo information. I already have a perfectly rideable Zoot, but I want something streetier. Why can they release pictures, but not information at the same time
  18. ...But before all them - trackstanding. So much easier to ride once you don't have to think about getting ready for a move so much.
  19. I'm just running a cassette cog It's digging in - but it's taken 3 years of Boumsong stamping down on it the same way... Pretty sure I'll be Ok
  20. To be honest - this is the first problem I've heard with driveshells - so either everyone's got steel ones, or the ally one is good enough Sorry I can't be more help. Mine's not steel.
