I've got a 38 I seem to get the feeling that super-wide rims are better for "proper trials", and being that 24" is usually more streety - no worries.

I with Kris rather a lot, and I'd say that we have a perfectly decent sense of humor. The fact that it's about "13-16" years in advance of yours is not our problem. Basically - if we didn't have the likes of you, the forum would probably be a bit dead. I more meant it like this: In my view - if you want to ride/train/skate/whatever in a town that is someone else's hometown - you should contact one of them first, and ask them to show you 'round. That way - if you break anything, atleast they're not gonna be all like "Who the hell destroyed my favourite rail gap?!" when they next go. Just a sign of respect, y'know? Oh wait... Look where we are :/ Plus, you get a better session out of it, if you don't spend half your time looking for places.

T-Pro - got a little cramped, switched to 24"... Zoot - good fun Improved my riding no end. Can't ride it like a 24" is supposed to be ridden, though.

This'll depend on how outward going you are... I'd love to do it - but don't have the people skills/social confidence it'd need. Drop everything you've got. Take only a backpack full of vitals that you can carry. Have a goal of getting somewhere (India, for example). Keep enough money for a plain ticket home. Leave the house on foot, and just do it. Walk. Get the bus when you get tired. Get a train, if you feel you're not going to make it. Just try and experiance as much of the travelling as possible. Put yourself through some serious shit - you'll feel great for it. If you find somewhere you like on the way - stay there for a bit. If you want to stay for a while longer - stay for a while longer. You don't HAVE to get to India - no-one's expecting you. Just head in that general direction every time you move on. Maybe I'll get slated for even suggesting this - but I think it'd be f**king awesome.
