    Mtb Crashes

First song is 'The Primitives-Crash' Second is 'Green Day-King For a Day' they've stolen the music straight from Matt Berridges Crash vid as it still has like...'sorry Gary and frame to rail noises and shiz in la background..silly billys.
  2. Hi, my friend has given me his Pyhthon to try and fix while he's away travelling, the problem is the rear profile hub goes really stiff when you tighten the 8mm allen bolts to hold the wheel in the frame, like to the extent where you can't even pedal it backwards when the wheel is actually done up, so to ride it you have to have the wheel really loose which leads to slack chain/dodgy brakes/probs damaging frame etc. I'm assuming like a spacer is missing or something so its crushing the freewheel into the inside of the hub but i have no experience with profile hubs so don't really know where to start. Anyone else have this problem/know what i need to do? Thanks.

    Need Some Help.

Some not actually 80's stuff but that sort of styleee check out Fischerspooner, Emerge is a good song as is The 15th. Some of the Faint stuff mainly off the Danse Macbre album is that sort of style as well, like Glass Danse. Bon Bon
  5. I think you mean the one called James_Selectbikes if its just James and not Sam as well. I have it if you want to add me to msn iainclarke101@hotmail.com, or i could wham it on eengoedidee.
  6. Yeah, cos most frames just snap in two when you do a drop over 6ft...happens all the time. In answer to your question, not that at all... Thats a well good pic though, nice capturing of the moment hehe.
  7. I didn't think it was that impressive, nothing that stood out as amazing or different anyway. Some of the balance lines were good but overall i thought it was a bit samey. Some of it was like really basic and unimpressive...which was odd that they used clips like that. Overall yeah wasn't great in my opinion.
  8. Is it just me or are you running a mech for no apparent reason, it doesn't look like the chain even runs through it? I miss my old Ghz, ah was tres fun to ride....nice bike.
  9. Hey man i live in great missenden, go to school in aylesbury and ride there sometimes. Prefer to ride wycombe though. Send me a pm if you want a ride or something at some point.
  10. Um....where? I know there was the one around near his house but wheres the Bangor one?
  11. The second Pitbull vid the november02 one is still on Craigleescott Would be cool if you could upload some of those Bondy, such as Python first night etc....infact all of them would be awesome.
  12. The frame spec is copied off tartybikes and a lot of the stuff has its name on it, zoo bars etc. Only thing that is weird is he knows they're koxx pads, when koxx pads don't have koxx written on them anywhere...unless they've changed. Maybe he asked tarty or something? Although he did get the wrong colour. Or just did his research on la internetio. Anyway good luck getting your bike back Dan.

    .~

On high stuff it can also be argued that its easier to tuck your legs/bike up if your going towards your backfoot. I do the same and naturally go left towards my front foot but spent like a day doing it only to the right and that feels almost as natural now, just i have no confidence doing it onto anything highish incase i hit my mech. Its good to know how to go both ways.
  14. I would say Phil Williams for Select Bikes and also Dave/Adam for Tartybikes. Just for making trials stuff readily avaliable at good prices with great service. ....but thats 3 people...ah well.
  15. Yeah definatly, i'd be up for that. What sort of time would you be getting there? Iain (guy with the black pashley ghz on london/reading/oxford rides)

    Zoo-video-ermm

Surely its the same as usual as thats his style of making videos. Its like saying a trilogy of films is bad as they're all similar but with a different plot. As long as the riding is different the style of editing etc can be the same and still make a good vid. Thats just my opinion, not having like a go, just stating a thought. Anyway, really liked that...awesome vid.
  17. Have you checked that an 06 one will fit in your pashley, i had a cnc one in my ghz and it fitted really nice and looked well cool etc but i destroyed it in about 2 months so went back to the d521.
  18. Few pics in this topic, dunno about the exact look you want but theres some pics. Here

    Destruction Thread

In the past two months i have managed to kill so much stuff its weird Snapped frame, bb, chainring :P , chain, rim, axle, magura pad clip thingy and then the chain again tonight As well as that my cranks have completely rounded from the bb snapping and the bash has had the threads ripped out from when my chainring snapped. all in all pretty gay. Heres a pic of the frame seeing as you wanted pics

  21. Probably going to go to Oxford now as a few people are going there too. Not really sure at the moment. Who else is going to be going to reading? Also is there any free parking in Reading?
  22. I don't really mind which day, whichever is more popular, Saturday at 12 sounds good though if anyone else is up for it.
  23. Anyone want to ride either oxford or reading on saturday or sunday, saturday is probably easier, but more busy i assume. So yeah either place either day, anyone?
  24. Can anyone give me some vague directions to hook woods, as in where it's near. Might come and watch. Also wondering what time it starts?
