  1. Yeah, i got some of the Nano tech flat pedals for my dh bike off there. Came first thing next day...and they're really nice. So yeah, go for it. Not sure about the bolts, maybe send them an email to find out.
  2. Haven't ridden Oxford for ageees, really should. awesome pics, porters arms are HUUUGE!
  3. Thought i whack some pictures up of my pure i just found on my camera seeing as i haven't put any bike pics up since about 2003 as both the times i put pictures up my frame cracked a week later...which was an odd coincidence but put me off posting pics! Hopefully this won't kill itself in a weeks time now. Spec is echo urbans, old style zoo bars, echo cnc cranks, rear pewter king, rear maggie etc etc, now running a front vee, rides amazing.
  4. The thing i don't get is that the first 50yards is just a flat pedaling section...must have been really unlucky.
  5. Yeah i miss the days when Penguin jokes were just Rascist and homophobic slander...that's where this country has gone wrong, bring back gay jokes on Penguin wrappers i say. It's not that you're not allowed to call gays Gay, it's that you're not allowed to make jokes insulting the fact that they are gay...good luck on your trip to downing street...you go tell those gay people not to call you straight!
  6. Yeah, i heard Hitler was very anti Gay jokes....wouldn't have let anyone say a bad word about them...same with Jews i hear, loved them too.
  7. Bit in bold makes almost no sense...nice. I think the reason Jack is getting all the apparent 'fame' is due not only to the fact that he is an awesome rider, with a pretty unique style but he is also one of the friendliest people out there and always up for helping you learn something etc, just a nice guy who seems to be having fun, which is always good for a sport i suppose.
  8. When i returned something once that happened to me, i emailed and they just never replied and i cound't get through on the phones. In the end i sent another email saying please reply asap i have been waiting a week kind of thing and i got a reply within the hour, don't know if it was just fluke or if it was because i was pushy. Wish they did some kind of reward scheme type thing, must have spent thousands on that site over the years. So yeah just try emailing them again i would.
  9. 02 Saracen X ile...had a mini seat, thus was a trials bike, was awesome, still got it Old mentally short Onza t rex, headtube cracked. Bt raven, second one in the uk...was way too long Planet X Zebdi, probs my favourite frame, cracked at the BB, obviously Ashton Et 24, lasted 2 months then snapped in 2 Pashley 26ghz Zoo Phython 04 which i swapped for Zoo Pitbull 05 which i swapped for Echo Control 05 Echo Pure 04 Current: Gu Le 26.
  10. You know the internet has many other wonderful sources of information other than Tf? There's a good site for finding out stuff called google. Anyway, i think West Quay in Southampton is open until 9 tonight...and the west quay website also agrees with me..not too sure about portsmouth, because i don't know what the shopping centre is called...probs until 8 though. I think most big shopping centres stay open late everyday throughout December up to Christmas.
  11. He never said it wasn't in France...he said he was going to Mayrhofen in Jan...hence the link to the harakiri...
  12. I did a season snowboarding in Deux Alpes a couple of years ago and it is good. Park on the glacier is huge if that's your thing and there's also some well good powder runs and off piste down to la grave if it's open plus the nightlife is good. But yeah defo worth getting a bus to D'huez for general piste skiing as it's a bit more varied over there. And as said it's included on your lift pass so you may as well, does involve getting up quite early to make the most of it though. You can get a helicopter over there as well if you fancy spalshing out...although it does cost like £40 for a 5 minute ride...maybe not the best idea ever.. Answering your question though, Tignes is alright for nightlife as is Val D'isere and the skiing there is well good. One of my favourite places in terms of skiing is flaine but there is lieterally no nightlife at all so probs not the best bet, same with les arcs and la plange, loads of skiing just not that much apres ski. Morzine is also well good with the whole of the portes du soliel and loads of apres ski, just it doesn't always have the best snow being quite low. I'd probs go for Val D'isere or Tignes overall.
  13. Ah was just wondering if this was happening again the other day actually. I'll be there, good reason to go home for a bit, hopefully it won't be mentally wet again.
  14. I'll come along on Wednesday to Southampton. Security is a lot more speedy/actually there on weekdays though so some places will be a bit of a non starter.
  15. Anyone want to ride southampton tonight? i'll be out later, would be good to have a few other people.
  16. Yeah like i've been here for ages and am perfectly reliable but i don't have tonnes of posts, whereas if i had joined last week and just whacked out loads of posts that would make me more reliable how?
  17. Alright it's Iain from the Soton ride last weekend. Probably try and come along to this, where is good/free to park and where do we meet? Cheers.
  18. Alright, i'm at uni in southampton, so i live here, would be good to organise some night rides and stuff. I'm up for a ride whenever. Just send me a pm or something. There must be more locals? Iain.
  19. Dan Slyfield had it first, and sprayed it, then i got it along with another one and kept one and gave that one to thecircus, so yeah it's been around. My one only lasted 3 months, should have chosen that one damnit, seems to be imortal....or just never riden..
  20. To be fair i have hardly seen any trials videos that tend to have the bmx/skating style of editing, using long lines and following the rider/skater as they go. So i don't think there really is a problem, not that that would be a problem, just quite difficult to do with a more static type of sport. Also trials doesn't have to be with no flow, flow is what makes it good, people like Rowan johns/ John shrewsbury etc etc have lots of flow which is what makes it so good, i think flowy riding was a lot more common 'back int day' of like 04/05 when it was less about how big you could go. Just can't really compare two different sports thats all, just because it has a bike involved, it's a bit like comparing football with basketball due to the common link of the ball. Should just be about doing what ever you want to do really. I also think you exaggerate too much

Alrighty, song is Cold Water Music by Aim. Awesome vid, as it was back then as well.
  22. Um the snow in these places tends to vary massivly depending on if its new or old...but it's never as good as the real thing obviously, it tends to be pretty sticky, slow and slushy then randomly icy in places...pretty rubbish most of the time in the MK one to be honest....most fun to do like kickers and rails and stuff. Kinda like comparing going to a sandpit on holiday or going to a tropical beach....actuall week away would of course be about a zillion times better.

    Help Needed..

If people posted everytime they/a friend had a problem and needed some money and it worked i'm sure there would be hundreds of 'i need money for whatever reason topics'. Theres probably people with far worse situations who have to work it out for themselves, i'm sure you/he can work it out somehow. Asking a load of people who don't even know the guy isn't the best way. I doubt you would give money to a random stranger on the street in the same situation...
  24. Ah sick, yeah i live just outside, ride there pretty much like every other day so if you're ever going there send me a message or something. Bon.
  25. Ah bon, yeah shame the lens has like blurryness on my gap pic but cheers for the pics dan, they're good. You'll have to come to Wycombe again for longer and ride a bit further afield.
