  5. hi,out of curiosity i'm wondering what peoples most favorite trials dvd's, my top dvd's are get1 ,manifesto and art of trials . get1 and manifesto are two of my favorites because of the riding and wicked sound track ; and i love art of trials because i tend to ride better after i watch it ,think its something to do with learning the techniques or something . so, what trials dvd's do you like the most? steve
  6. i prefer wider rims to thin ones ,just because it think it feels more stable than a thin rim. steve
  7. tartybikes is honestly the best bike company i've bought from, you cant go wrong if you buy from them tarty tend to have almost everything needed for a trials bike ,although it would be nice if they sold more dvd's steve
  8. your bikes looks wicked, i think i'm going to have to build myself a 24 trials bike steve
  9. i love my tensile urban legends ,there strong and lightweight and available in 165mm ,170 mm and 175mm what else can you ask for ? steve

  11. looking pretty sweet mate, got any more pics that you can put up?the more the better
  12. bigger wheels = more leverage .so bigger brakes are required . i think if you try the search button you'll find a page explaining the different forces different size brakes and wheel make steve
  13. i ride only a couple of hours a week due to college, work coarsework and the other half .winter doesn't help much either, xmas holidayss soon so i'll be doing long sessions nearly everyday ,bring it on steve
  14. i'm not sure ,should be a wonder of the modern world i imagine its because of the added production costs of having to produce the same product just in to opposing ways, this would apply to frames ,forks ,brakes ,hubs etc steve
  15. im just wondering if anyone has ever run a coaster sprocket on a trials bike?for those who don't know what one is it's a sprocket that allows you to ride backward without pedaling (i was told this by a bmxer) if so what are you thoughts on them ,also were did you get it from? any help appreciated, steve
  16. wow i think i've decided what my next frame will be
  17. go try-all ,i'm really impressed by them i choose them over echos because of the lighter weight and because they come in a sexy fluecent green colour steve
  18. with the money i'll hopefully get i'll probably get onza carbon bars and possibly a hope stem ny bike should be in my eyes perfect soon so watch out in the bike pics forum steve
  19. looking good there, what forks are you running mate?post some more pics up please i like the older koxx frames steve
  20. i'd buy one for everyone i know for xmas, even non trials riders
  21. definitely get isis, tons better. if you decide to stay square tapered then the answer is the echo and onza bottom brackets are pretty much the same thing ,not sure about shiman though. steve
  22. i think the problem you have may be just that your feet barely move before the 108 engagement points engage when compared to say a ck hub or something. i felt the same way for a few rides, then i really liked the almost instant response the freewheel offered i'll definitely will be getting another one when my current one dies.steve
  23. i personally prefer high bb ,but i am a bit special
  24. the biggest problem i had was that i was and still am the only rider in my home town so i have no one to learn from which is a bummer Rebelistic is so right in saying about how hard trials is ,many a young person has took interest in trials and then gone no further because they couldn't do trials in the first attempt . more dvds will definitely help with trials aswell .steve
  25. do you ride a stock or mod ?go for a hope trials ,they're really powerful on wheel sizes, go for a 160mm for mods and 180mm for stocks add a monty disc rotor if you have a mod and your brake will be wicked.steve
