It's perfectly legal as long as you don't get caught. Customs let you back into the country with your duty free smokes on the grounds that you're going to smoke them all yourself. To sell them on would mean you have defrauded HMRC and can face fines/prison. But everyone does it! Why not set up a home page and sell the pixels on it for $1 a time.

People are saying that if you are uploading to youtube, which is SD, you wont get any benefit from an HD camera. This is not true. The compresion algorithms (codecs) can take advangate of the higher definition of the source video. This can be seen in the youtube videos by Inur above.

Sounds about right to me. I mean without actually knowing you, I can still say with some certainty that your brain is a pretty clever and complex thing, but that doesn't mean it's perfect. For example, you can confuse your brains balancing circuits by spinning yourself around a few times. So for it to get a bit messed up when you're tired is not unthinkable. In fact the only thing different when experiencing deja vu would be a feeling of familiarity of the events unfolding before you (although that isn't what you described - where you can actually recall the last time you experienced it). Frankly i'd rather believe that your brain got a bit f**ked up and randomly involked an overwhelming feeling of familiarity, than believe my entire future is pre-decided and that I don't have the free will not to press the 'add reply' button right now...

I saw a documentary once which said it was a glitch in the matrix.

Imagine if they'd have gift-aided it

Ever thought about doing standup?

You can bet they will. Big style. Pakistan is one of only 9 or 10 countries in the world with nuclear weapons, and now it looks sure to be controlled by a govornment (radically!) opposed to the west!

Dual 22" widescreens = 3.2 megapixel display. Runs ubuntu but have xp in a vm to do some of the stuff that you cant do or is harder in ubuntu. Also have macosx (as in the picture) for shits and giggles but it's slow even on this machine which is quite top end because it's not optimised. Oh and playstation and SNES emulation for fun, cant beat a bit of crash bandicoot or Mariokart when you're hung over!

Your computer has thousands available for use by applications running on it. Applications tend to use specific ports all the time, for example bit torrent tends to use 6881 to 6889, remote desktop protocol uses 3389. Google it to find the port the application uses.

Tragic. Similar to many others I have only had the pleasure of interacting with Oli through the forum, but nevertheless this is a great loss, and that is an understatement. His depth of character shone through in his excellent contributions here. To the family: I hope you find a way to cope with this tragic loss - Oli was an outstanding member of this forum and undoubtedly a credit to your whole family. He will be sorely missed. To everyone else: stay safe

In your ass? See.

Ew it's a refurb. That means the ear buds will have been in someone elses waxy ears and possibly in their ass too. I, for one, would definately not buy it.

I would exchange that shed of money for Euro's (or invest in European (Eurozone) exposed securities) while Sterling deflates as mew decreases due to capital losses in the housing market. But i'd probably pop into Shanghai Gardens on the way back from the bank. Unless there's that smell that means the fat's off again. They only change it monthly, and that should prompt me to visit Abduls instead.

Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread
Extreme_biker0 replied to Has anyone seen my shoe?'s topic in Chit Chat
I thought trust would be the hardest thing. But it's not, it's plain and simply that you see them so infrequently it makes it painful. And arguments. Arguemnts happen, fact, but it's hard to get close again at a distance. Saying that me and my gf manage fine! -
No worries about the phone. I thought i wiped the card, obviously not! Gawd nothing on there of the girlfriend I hope, she'd go spare! In nero, to burn an .iso file, did you go File menu-->Burn cd image (i think that's how it goes)? If you did and it didn't work it's a dodgy image i suppose.

Ha ha ha you crack me up, no, no, seriously ha ha you really do. Do you have any more?!

That is a good one, although something I think you'd be quite stupid to actually aim for! I want to get rich, and quick. I'm not being a sad b*****d here though, because it's not the money or associated power and status that I want. It's just that lots of the things I want to do like travel, own a plane, etc require a lot of money to do. Money is the main barrier to me doing a lot of things i want to do with my life. If I ever get rich there are so many places I want to go!

As someone said, you have one already (the one you downloaded). You just burned it wrong, so that Nero added it's own little boot thing to the cd. What type of file was the xp disp you downloaded? Or just 'got' as you say.

I did it and got an A. I didn't do much work, but it was very hard.

Do you think on www.mobility-scooter-forum.co.uk there is a similar thread along the lines of 'all those gawd darn biker youth yobs hanging around in the town centre while i'm trying to get my pension etc etc'?

When you've passed your test and got a few thousand miles under your belt, you'll understand. Well I can relate to him anyway. It shits me up when i'm in the car with someone I don't really trust to be a safe driver, nevermind someone who can't drive full stop. Anyway back on topic, theres an old guy at our local pub, he pulls in at about 7pm and by last orders he's on about 10 pints. He then spins his motorised scooter around and drives home on the roads on 2 frigging wheels, taking at least 5 people out between the bar and the door. How is that ok?
