  1. yeah true , thats why i use a mech .
  2. the best thing to use is a old mech they are more reliable and keep the same tension all the time , but if you want something more compact and lighter the only tensioner i would us is the rohloff it has the same kind of spring tension as a mech. [attachmentid=8175]
  3. i wouldnt bother its crap !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. damn i thought i got a good deal ...lol yeah halfords are ok !
  5. I took mine to halfords last week and they got it off and only charged £5.00 which is nothing in comparison to the effort it takes to get it off . Especially if you don't own a vice and a scaffold pole.
  6. wedge to reverse manual to pedal up , that always looks cool !
  7. this site has them in stock http://www.wiggle.co.uk/Default.aspx?ReferID=parkpre&
  8. does engagement points effect how stiff the gearing feels ? because i have a try-all freewheel and the same gear ratio I'm used to 18:14 feels stiffer now all thou i have had 18;16 for a short time in between so it could be i got used to that but i remember 18:14 being lighter before i had this freewheel.
  9. the link wont work for me , and it sounds so funny
  10. All your dreams in one picture . [attachmentid=8087]
  11. my worst fear is my chain snapping or my freewheel skipping just as I'm dropping off something , and then nose diving into the floor . also when your stem snaps right off and your left in a crumpled pile on top of your bike still holding your handle bars in complete shock.
  12. I cant really see the point in going overboard with expensive stuff or pimped as everyone calls it , its just going to get wrecked and if your bikes to nice you just worry about it to much .
  13. I have the same helmet in the same colour from the same place and its good for the money its comfy, light and strong I'm guessing as i haven't bounced my head of the pavement yet
  14. WOW!!! that's quite a stem you've got there.
  15. you can buy this off me for a £10 , tioga mc lite s . its tiny [attachmentid=7986]
  16. Ive been thinking of doing that , but that stem doesn't really look that high rise , what degree is it ?
  17. Aren't the forks that come with the zoot 24" specific ?
  18. oh yeah the other day i had a about 5 coppers laugh at me and i mean proper cracking up , when they slowed down to see what was going on and just at that moment i stacked it , they just drove off laughing .
  19. i don't find it that bad i still ride in shorts and a t-shirt once you've been riding for a few minutes then you get warm its only when you take a rest you suddenly go all stiff and tired and cant be bothered anymore .
  20. Ive had warnings from the police when i was on a dirt jumper doing trials but never when I'm on a proper trials bike , they just say get some lights and why don't you go off road and tell me i going to get fined if i get court again. so to me what that means is don't get court ! as soon as you see the police just ride off , that's all they want is for you to leave, then you can go back another day . As for civilians they are split i half some really like it and watch whilst you give them a demo and others give you dirty looks and ask you questions like "Do you want the bill for that "
  21. yeah its built by the council its a proper trials park next to the skate park its in shoebury park , yeah i don't live near it I'm from witham but taking pallets there would make it better
  22. [attachmentid=7933][attachmentid=7932] Here's some pictures of of a trials park i went to today in shoeburyness near southend Essex , what do you think of it ? personally i thought it was abit disappointing as lots of space was wasted there was not much for beginners and the wooden reels wobbled also i dont think many trials riders have used it latley as we got lots of unwanted attention from from chavs as young as 5 abusing us ...lol PS: the skate park was also crap
