Cheers. Those daft gussets made quite a difference made the frame feel really stiff and improved the brake performance to. Iv still got the original forks lying around to, paints even been stripped of them

Ross has the mentality of an engineer so he makes and mods loads of cool shiz for his bike rather than just buying it and as he sits about working on war ships all day he has the resources to get the stuff made to the highest standard possible. Sometimes its nice to throw an idea out there to see if anyone has done it before and to see if they hit any problems on the way, makes life easier and I`m sure if someone asked something similar that he had experience of he would be more than happy to help.

how would you go about deionizing water and would it really make much of a difference?

water bleeds seem to be quite common these days, thats what i run mine with and there solid. means you cane even bleed it under water so there is no chance of air getting at all. but if your seals are already dead might not be to grate. meh!
