  16. about 25min at 180 degrees then let it rest for 5 mins
  17. most will say there shite but i like them - yes there cheap but the money is spent in the right places i would like to give one word of advice though change the rear hub asap as thats one real weak point of the whole build other bits to consider would be a rear brake booster as the frames flex a little and maybe a shorter stem for a more street feel
  18. ive always been a maxxis fan and thr high roller is my choice tyre im going to try a rubber queen soon but i spotted a specialized chunder 2.3 in my local bike shop and compared it to the high roller on the shelf and the tread it almost the same but the specialized is like half the price and its a fair bit lighter has anyone used a specialized chunder cause im really tempted to try one
  19. yeh cheers for that - was going to use maxxis tyres (hence the username) but think im gona try conti's
  20. im building a new bike the frame is a gu st 06 im looking to make it as light as possable but trying to keep it cheap i know that you can just hack holes out of the frame and other components but at a cost of strength im not wanting to hack it to death so with specific components in mind what and where do i make holes? im going for lightweight parts like tires and tubes with drilled rims but any advice on specific parts appreciated cheers maxxis26
  21. looks really nice sleek and simple im going for the same sort of idea on my gu
  22. i could work with enough input i just went looking at the spot in exeter in satalite view and those spots look really good im gona get some from around devon and cornwall cause theres loads to ride here
  23. i brought a similar thing from halfords years ago called a jig its designed to stop the chain from coming off the front chainring but you dont have to shorten your chain its more for downhill bikes as they need the chain lenth for the gears to work properly
  24. ive got a frame but it has some deep scraches in the downtube it there a way to remove them before spraying it i was thinking a grinder with a light pad on it just to "buff" them out any better ideas
