  1. I'm not really aware of what grants are available to me. I'm going to Leeds. Just had a read through the application process and would have to see a specialist to get diagnosed, which could go pretty wrong.

    Ignore

    Already scrapped the idea.
  3. 60 mile cycle over 2 days of rain on my singlespeed, very happy with that

Not with the sort of hills that are around here. And considering its my first proper outing on it. Someone's got their willy a little far up Ryan's bum

  4. It is a solo, but mine had no issues with cracks or brake mounts
  5. the logos will stay there, check out mine in my thread
  6. Update 01.07.12: Not so much an update, as a step back. Had to go back to my hi-roller on the rear for the time being as the tabletop was too narrow (If any wants it for the front just ask). Matching 4 finger levers, polished. Matching gucci tpas. Trying out a tartybikes mod stem that I had spare to see how it rides before ordering a pretty one, although at 165mm rise it's hefty, hence the bar angle and lack of spacers. Also bought a cheap fish eye lens for my iphone, so had a play.
  7. I remember Chris akrigg doing some crazy shiz on his fixie back in the day!
  8. Think it's a 45 bb, I ran the trialtech sl stem on mine (as pictured) with trialtech bars. Worked out just right.
  9. I just go for 2 squirts of aftershave, dries pretty much instantly and glides on. That's with foams though.
  10. BETTER THAN ALL THE REST

  11. Dmr vaults are yummy too
  12. Haha steady jake a little harsh? Ha Ash I'd drop those revell pedals, I used to run them, they're a weighty bugger. I'm surprised the gu's as heavy as it is. If you can ride it, RIDE IT YO
  13. Rear rim is singlewalled and is only 500g, so no complaints about it as of yet. Was free anyway. Bike still comes in around 8.1
  14. If you have a budget pushing £400 like you say, you can some right bargains on here. Just have a scan through the for sale section
  15. I don't rate the frame in anyway. But If I was to be spending that much money on a bike, I wouldn't be happy at all. Especially not with the brakes on either (excpet the rear hs11).
  16. I have that stem for sale if you want it?
  17. Update 20.06.12: So... the rear rim took a beating on a big bail at tunbridge wells (toad rocks) on saturday, causing the sidewalls to cave in in various places. Did as good a job as I could with it in the vice using a hammer, and got it as true as possible ready for sunday's comp. 20 seconds into section one she folded. The lovely Carl Perkins then sent me a rim on monday for the cost of postage, as well as me ordering some new spokes and a sprocket from tarty. Built it up yesterday and away we go again. Also gave me chance to polish my hub up nice. Will update new full build pictures soon, cousts have well and truly bedded in on the front and rear, best pads on the market. Now running polished 4 finger levers front and rear too.
