  1. That's a really nice set up there! I'm sure looking forward for the answer too!
  2. I like the green fork, it sure stands out!
  3. Last year I had my mtb street bike 24'', and an echo lite. It feels weird riding them, as in I would have to "re-adapt" again cos geometry is so different - one's too long, the other too short. Then sometimes when I ride the street bike, I feel like riding trials. And when I ride the trials bike, I feel like riding street. Now problem solved with the 24uk.
  4. The way Danny Mac and Ali C ride their inspired.
  5. Light cotton shirt, tights (above the knees type, I don't have fatty thighs but I don't like my shorts to rub on my thighs), shorts, the usual socks and shoes. Sometimes I don't wear my glasses, and I just got my new gloves (quit wearing them for 2 years). It's terribly hot at my side so my clothes are as light as possible. And of course a helmet for big stuffs too.
  6. I like the way you spray the bar - white to black.
  7. Oh ok got it, we call it waist pouch over here. Haha, but bum bag sounds nicer. And yes, I'm a geek! I wear specs and play the rubik's cube. Heheh.
  8. I just carry my waist pouch, it's very flat and small. In it has the crankbrothers mini tool 10, ipod, key, money (I don't carry my wallet while riding), identity card, small bit of tar. There's plenty of mcdonald's and 7-11 for drinks and food at my side. I haven't heard of any riders at my side carrying so many spares! Tubes and patch kit at the most. If anything breaks, like the crossover or bb, we would just take a taxi home.
  9. Perhaps you can start off at a quarter which has a low sloping gradient. Worked for me. Steep ones are hard.
  10. I wonder what was going through Deng's mind when he designed it. I mean, so many of you can point out the faults, so surely he must have thought of it too right?
  11. Erm not exactly, I'm running the evo clamp on the reversed vee mounts cos I stripped one of the 4-bolt mounts. That "thing" which you thought was a 4-bolt mount is actually the cable guide. To be honest, I'm just too lazy to get it heli-coiled now. Now I wonder is running the brakes on the bottom of the seat stay better? I can't think of any advantages.
  12. For the fun of it, this is a random shot of me licking my fingers during a bbq.
  13. I know a friend who plays basketball wearing boxers in his shorts, his balls shook and dangled and got twisted. Had to go to the hospital to un-twist it. Another friend had a dirt-jump accident, landed balls smacking the seat and got them twisted. That is really scary!
  14. Haha, not everyone is that bad, or crazy. It's quite a good place to visit. Andrew Chai is from Singapore too!
  15. Among humans, flatulence occasionally happens accidentally, such as incidentally to coughing or sneezing or during orgasm.
  16. This isn't really embarrassing, but rather funny. Last year I had overseas an attachment to some engine company in China. We all stayed in a hotel (paid for by our school), and two to a room. I was with my best friend and we would play one round of scissor-paper-stone, winner gets to wank in front of the laptop, while the loser goes into the toilet to wank with the ipod. This happens every day, and one day I was was having the laptop and my friend suddenly rushed out from the toilet holding his erected dick saying, "Look at my cock!". I was like "wtf?", and then it took me a while to get the momentum going again.
  17. Whoa, I like it! Nice! What rims are those? Arrow racing on the front? Rear?
  18. I'm using the heatsink cnc cousts on a smooth rim. I put a tiny bit of tar just for the honking sound otherwise it would be just silent squeals. I've noticed that most riders say the heatsink reds are better than the cousts. Anyway, I swear by heatsink pads. But if you want lots of modulation, go disc.
  19. I wonder why the "chavs" in my country all have girlfriends. I mean, we all know that chavs are dumb/stupid, but isn't it even more stupid for a girl to go for a chav? They're totally wastng their time (or rather their youth) away.
  20. As far as I know, Da Bomb do not make trials bikes.
  21. Are the knifens still available? And are leeson forks good too? (the 360 dropouts are sure one of a kind!)
  22. I was to run rhynolite's on pro 2's, but I used dm24 instead. For the spokes I used dt comp. The mechanic (also a trials rider) who built my wheel measured the correct length, and sent it down to another bike shop to get them cut and re-threaded.
  23. That's exactly like Murphy's law. "Whatever can go wrong will go wrong, and at the worst possible time, in the worst possible way"
