  1. You are referring to something like... this? Sorry I can't help it. This was taken in June 4th. The ratio is 21:15, but now I'm running 21:16, which makes the chain tension just nice, I don't even need to use a tensioner. Come September I'll get the heli-coil sorted, and shorten the rear brake cable too.
  2. I learned it the 'hard' way. I was at the skatepark once and this foreign kid came up to me and asked if he could ride it. I agreed. He tried to do some wheelies and then came back after a minute. As he was approaching me, he just lost balance, fell, and my front brake lever got bent. Luckily, I didn't like my front brake at all, it's a shimano and the pad has lots of play. I managed to bend the lever straight. Now when I ride, kids will come up to me and ask for a go, and I'll always say I'm on my way home and then go somewhere else to ride. I'll only lend it to my rider friends.
  3. Ants aren't attracted to the honey right? Cos honey isn't really sugar? Honey can also be applied to your wounds, and aids in the healing.
  4. Can someone clarify my doubts. Does the 24'' fork means it's only for 24'' wheels, and can't be used with 26'' wheels, or it's just a normal fork but has maggie mounts lowered for 24'' wheels?
  5. The blob of weld back into the hole should work. I've done lots of tapping in school, but I wouldn't re-tap my own frame cos I'm afraid I would screw it up. For me, it'll be better off sending it to an experienced mechanic.
  6. http://thenextbike.com/productview.php?cat...amp;prod_id=369 handphone quality pics of rockman front disc hub.
  7. Both my parents are fine with me riding, but my mum still wonders why I buy such an expensive bike and go out and hop on it. My dad is more supportive cos a senior rider was working under him, so my dad got a little bit of info in trials riding.
  8. I'm sure it would hold good, but adjusting the slave cylinder would be quite tedious. I wanted to do it when i stripped one of my 4-bolt mount, but bending the jubilee clip about the seatstay was so troublesome I gave up.
  9. Whoa, I was speechless! Showed it to my friends and they were speechless too! The bike sure looks good (has that bit of "old-school" look).
  10. I get your point I would be re-spraying the colour of my frame end of this year, and it wouldn't be glow-in-the-dark. Current colour is white and it gets dirty too easily, and turning yellow-ish too. I'm thinking of baby blue (similar to Dave's inspired), or cherry red, or cream.
  11. Wow, those amazing pads. Are sure good. Lol!
  12. Glow-in-the-dark would look awesome!
  13. This doesn't just apply to the UK riders right? Can I join in too? My friend and I are quite interested, and we just started trials not long.

Got your message! But I doubt I would be putting a peg on my 24uk, though there are a lot more cooler peg tricks!
  15. This is the third trials video I've seen with this song. And all 3 vids are awesome! Besides the massive gap at the beginning, you have an excellent physique!
  16. Oh yeah, I read about him in MBUK. He says a lower fork gives him a steeper head angle which he prefers.
  17. Deng should make a 24'' frame. But more importantly, some 24'' anodised rims! So far I know VIZ has them and they're too wide at 46mm for street.
  18. I would get a fox float reduced to 60mm
  19. I had a missed call from my girlfriend last night (I was real busy studying then), but at least I did text her 5 min later. This morning she told me I need not bother to text or call or see her again - all because of a missed call! Sometimes she behaves so childishly. And right now she text me as if this morning's incident didn't happen at all. This is making me crazy...
  20. Wow, I love the park riding pics. It's always good to see trials riders riding park.
  21. Gaps are good but sidehops really feel weird. Maybe it's just me. And not to forget - flicky! But I feel that the 24uk is more street orientated.
  22. I find the full stroke easier to do. I can't do anything with my bad foot forward.
  23. I noticed that the deraileur hanger isn't mounted on. Is there any disadvantages for not putting it? Cos I didn't mount the hanger too, but did so recently cos there's some minor alignment problem with the wheel.

My goodness, how did you manage to fit on that peg?
