  1. If Heatsink were to have black pads, I would call them liquorice pads
  2. Ghost chaintring? Since you're running 18:15, you would need a 16T or 17T cog (depending on how sag your chain is), and you wedge the cog in between the chain. Basically that cog just floats in between the chain when you pedal. I've used it once on my street bike, and it didn't drop out. Some of my friends tried it but it didn't work out well for them. I've also seen a bmx rider using this ghost chainring! And the thing was that he has horizontal dropouts and a full half-link chain! It was featured on the Decline magazine. Shorter chainstay maybe... (I would be running 18:15 on my 24'' too)
  3. Hehe, have you tried an inspired? (Just joking) I found out there's an inspired in my country, and I am trying to contact the rider so I can try out his bike. Unfortunately he set it up into a pure trials bike (something like how tarty setup the inspired). A streety one would certainly be good!
  4. Black and lime green would be nice. Similar to the limey 26''
  5. It seems that Deng bolts are a tad shorter. I brought my bike down to the bikeshop (customisation bikeshop), and the mechanic said my bolts were too short.
  6. I actually got the rhynolites, but had to sell them off cos they were too narrow for my frame D:
  7. Hmm, but rhynolite and the atomlab are quite narrow too, though they're very strong. I almost gotten the tensile offset clamps, but I realised you can't really push the slave cylinders in? There's a limit as shown on the pink line. I guess it's more for positioning the cylinders further out. How did your's work? And by viz, you mean the one with the flower and hexagonal drilling? (sorry for using the pic off tarty)
  8. I'm riding a 24''. Currently I'm using a DM24 for the rear, and I find it quite narrow. (My 4-bolt mounts are spaced too wide too) I'm stuck on which rim to get, either a DX32 (plenty in my country ) or some trials-specific 46mm rim, like the viz rim. I ride more of street than trials, and so I wonder if a 46mm rim would too wide? DX32 is just 39mm, and I reckon that width is quite good. I don't really mind the width, but I would like to hear your opinions.
  9. Yellow: heat White: sink (sinks are generally white right?)

    New Fork

How about the new inspired fork? Since the mention of steel forks, how about leeson? But that's expensive.
  11. They're green? Translucent green? Haha, sorry, can't help it.
  12. Yellow: Sponge Spongebob Squarepants Tweety (tweety bird) Bumblebee Hornet Star Honey star Big bird Gold Dandelion Post-it pads White: Snoopy Edelweiss (flower) Oreo Piano Chocolate (white chocolate) Polar Alpine Floss Toothpaste Colgate (toothpaste brand) Pearl or Pearly Pearly-whites Milk or Milky Milkshake Ice-cream Waffle Sugar (someone mentioned caster though)
  13. Hmm, nothing actually But won't it just snap off with all that braking force?
  14. High drops - Somehow I'm just afraid that my brake would slip (never really happen before), then I would fall backwards and hit my back on the ledge. Or suddenly loose balance and front wheel goes down first.
  15. Everything looks like the inspired! Not too sure about the BB to top of head tube though.
  16. Is that a floating rotor on the Zoo (CLS)?
  17. Hmm, it looks like something that I would buy, and put it on my display shelve. haha.
  18. I have tried Mr Rockman's Rockman bike 2 weeks ago. I have never ridden the GU before, so this isn't really a fair comparison. I'm not really good at giving reviews though. Despite the long wheelbase, the bike "feels" short. Honestly it's my second or third time trying out a stock bike cos most of my friends ride mods. I'm 174cm and thin, and it does feel a little high for me (maybe I'm just not used to riding a stock).
  19. If you are really worried, just go for a blood test. From what I know, only HIV can't be cured. And yes, always wear a condom, no matter who. It's not some wimpy kit, it's being sensible. I wonder if you have this brand called Okamoto? It's from Japan and it's only at 0.03mm thick! Claimed as the world's thinnest condom, and very strong too. My friends swear by Okamoto.
  20. Here are some riding pics at the skatepark. Taken on Thursday, and it was a really hot day at 35 deg C. There are more pics, but these are the only ones which my friend uploaded to his site. colin-wan.com
  21. I'm sure looking forward to see your 24uk when it's set up I wonder how it'll look like with the slightly raised seat tube.
  22. Hmm, if I have them, I would rather paste it on my friend's bike and give him a "surprise".
