Sounds pretty sweet. I want to boulder outside, never done anything really apart from bumbling around. Nothing overhanging or with a pad.

Pics please. I love exploring stuff. Got a lost crag to find when it's a bit drier. All I know is it's rough location, it's almost hidden, had 28 routes at one point but hasn't really been touched for about 20 years, oh and the gear is rubbish on most of it. Perfect.

Yeh but these things happen. Just means that my girlfriend is having to come climbing more often, shame. She's loving it though, especially as before I didn't like pushing it when she belayed me in case I had a big fall, but now I don't really have a choice. doing wonders for her confidence too as well, just seeing the gear hold me falling on it I think. I've had similar before, was coming off the wall and on the way down noticed that a clip was stuck open... How I failed to spot it on the way up remains a mystery. I'm bouldering a lot at the moment and improving pretty quickly. Going back to my old favourite wall on Sunday (haven't been for a couple of months), looking forward to trying a few routes I've had my eye on for a while. Going bouldering tonight actually on my own, might bother some people but I couldn't care less. You tend to find that people talk to you a lot more on your own as well, so new friends can be made.

Fair reason that, I'd think of something completely different then. The BB/BB initials would still lead me to get them mixed up to be honest. dent say nuffink. Excellent stuff, sounds like in the areas he's good at he's well on his way, but his online presence is lacking and will hold him back if he doesn't get it sorted. All irrelevant as no-one has said anything about that kinda stuff? Everyone has said the website looks shit, suggesting those things. I'm both, (better with bikes than web design actually, well 2 strokes anyway, never worked on a 4 stroke engine), but I can tell you what I'm not, a baker of fine cakes. Would I therefore make my own wedding cake? Would I f**kery. I'd pay someone who does it for a living to do it. Same logic should be applied to a website.

I don't think I've ever said this before, and will probably never say it again, but here goes... I agree with Matthew62. My tips for making this business work: Either sack the current website off, or hire a designer to start from scratch. It instantly reflects you and your business, which at the moment shows me you're badly thought out, rushed/half-arsed and most importantly, black. Change the name, at least as far as Broken Bikes, because then it doesn't use a z instead of an s, it doesn't use the word busted (sounds a bit too American to me), and you get a bit of a play on words. (Broken Bikes, bikes that have ceased to be working bikes, that are now being split up and sold in bits.) This isn't coming from my arsey b*****d side I usually post on here from by the way, but from my web designer/buyer of second hand bike spares for about 10 years side.

Considered climbing as a hobby? I've seen more change in my body in the last 3 months than the the 2 years before that. It's brilliant for finger/hand stregnth and all round core ting. Bit shit for cardio fitness though.

Pretty certain I never said that was the case. I just prefer to look at pictures of young ladies with the clothes removed. When was the last time you heard a bloke say "PHWOOOAARRRR LOOK AT THE CURTAIN COVERING UP THAT!!!!"? -

EDIT: Dammit. Read active as attractive. Was hoping for noodz to prove. -
That's if they'll let you any more. They made it so you could change your own a while back, but no-one knew who anyone was.

Yes but you're a massive b*****d Kev. You weigh double what most of my climbing friends weigh, for example. I stick to 1 tin a day, seems to do me well. Cut down to 3 eggs, was on 6 but I thought it was a bit much. I'm currently on 100-150g of protein a day, which should be alright.
-
Which has recently been proven to be almost no issue at all. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/7882850.stm There is some cholesterol in eggs, but not as much as there once was because the chickens are usually fed on a special feed now, rather than bone meal. I have 3 on toast for breakfast every day, nice and healthy. Also, I've read that 1 tin of tuna per day is fine, but more than that can lead to health problems. So I eat one a day in my butties at lunch.
-
There's a 20-60 minute window for when your muscles are screaming out for nutrients, but protein takes a lot longer than that to get into the blood as I understand it.
-
By that maths I would be getting about 160g of protein a day, but I'm not getting that much at the moment. Thing is though I'm not weight training, I'm doing climbing training which is more about power/weight than pure mass. I was thinking about 100-125g a day would be about right?

If I was still a teenager, I'd take this post apart piece by piece and pull up scientific studies and stuff to disprove it. Now I'm older and a bit more grumpy, I'm just going to say that the OP should ignore this post. 30g of protien is the optimum in one sitting IMO, but you can have upto 6 sittings in a day. Currently I'm going for 30g at breakfast, 20g at lunch, 20g mid afternoon then what I have to tea varies. Sometimes it can be 20g, sometimes 75g. Seems to be working well, in the last 3 months I've become bigger and stronger than ever before.

Sorry if I'm being insensitive, but I don't see the issue? Obviously your Dad's lass is a bit young, but meh, they want to be together. My Dad is 52, and has 1 year old twins with his new missus, who is 35. She's closer to my age than his, but no-one gives a shit. The children are happy and healthy, they're happy and so are the rest of us. By the time they're 21, I'll be 41 and my Dad will probably be dead, but we'll deal with that then. At the moment the age doesn't matter. Close up of your fist? f**k off child. That's not how we do things on this forum. If you want to be a bolshy teenager with a chip on your shoulder, go and comment on some youtube videos. -
I thought they were both shit. The India one particularly. Their behaviour made me ashamed to be English to be honest...

Meh I dunno. I want to have it done, because I don't want to have kids, but then I'll probably change my mind in 20 years time.
