  1. Yup. Intel seem to be performing far better than AMD generally at the moment. I can't see AMD lasting longer than 18-24 months personally. Their CPUs are shit and the marketing is shit. Wouldn't be saying that if I wasn't sure of it, I'm an AMD fanboy lol. Have been since I built my latest "rig" in 2009, but I'd steer well clear now if I were you! Yes. The computer appears to be on the floor. This will not do. It needs to be on the desk. I'm testing a load of hardware ready for selling at the same time as getting my server running properly at the moment, so my desk is covered in stuff, so I took a picture. I like to nerd.
  2. 2011 - 2007 = 4 years Jardo. Sad times. What ever happened to the Mini? Last I heard the engine trouble had been sorted and it was ready to kick off again? RIP lad.
  3. Unless you were 130kg last time I saw you, you're pretty f**king huge mate.
  4. Dumbbell shrugs? One of mine used to a bit stronger than the other, now they're the same. Don't think I've ever been, or will ever be sub 10%. I'm not too fussed about my weight, I just want to be stronger for when the climbing season comes round again.
  5. Learn what OCD is. Everything posted so far in here is just getting wound up when things aren't done logically. OCD is having to go to the front of every class and having to tap the board 3 times, or instead of shutting a door, shutting it 3 times, or organising everything in a room depending on how sharp it is. OCD - Irrational. Being tidy/organised - Very slight autistic trace.
  6. Lol, how tall are you JD? Apparantly I'm 80kg, is that good? I'm 5'10" with (last time I checked on some of those shitty guessomatic scales) 14% bf.
  7. That, is proper. I've had all of this week off so far due to illness. f**king hate winter, I seem to have a cold for about 80% of it and I always feel too grotty/shitty to train. Tips on fighting the cold? Back up to 176lbs so far. Not quite the 190lbs I once was, but I'm stronger in most lifts than I was then, so I'm guessing that's a good thing.
  8. If my girlfriend ever dressed like that, I'd send her away to boarding school.
  9. Nope, there's nothing I'm keeping for myself, although I have got some rather nice Christmas presents out of it for people.
  10. ........... ? Anyway, I'm planning on posting the rest of my crap I don't want to my Dad at work, but not telling him about it.
  11. I did get a nice new pen.
  12. Yeh, same, but that times 3.
  13. Ours just arrived, 3 sacks of crap, cost about £50 in total. Unwrapping it properly tomorrow, but on first inspection it's all complete and utter shit.

Yeh, a f**king fortune. Indoor doesn't cost much though, but I climb outdoor as well so you need a lot more kit. Here are some rough prices for you: Entry to indoor wall - £5-8 Shoe hire - £2-3 Harness hire - £2-3 Belay device hire - £1-2 To buy your own kit though (which is much nicer to climb in and well worth investing in if you plan on doing it often): Harness - £50 - £70 Shoes - £70 - £100 Belay device & carabiner - £20-50 Chalkbag and chalk - £15-30 That's your minimum amount of kit to top rope indoors. If you want to lead you'll need your own rope, which can be anything from £65-£250. If you want to climb outdoors, set aside at least £200 for a rack. Best advice I can give you is to find someone who climbs regularly, and tag along. I did that and I've managed to borrow a lot of gear, so it's not actually cost me much so far. On climbing itself (getting there, getting in, chalk etc), I probably spend £50-75 a month, and on kit about £150 a month.

  16. Nah, couldn't even tell you what language that is. Some programmy shit. I do web design anyway, not programming. He might as well be speaking in southern.
  17. Clearly Jai just found this page via google and joined, so he could post his solution, and so we'd all go and check out his website.

    Snow -.-

This year if we have a snow day, I shall be walking over to the nearest indoor climbing wall and having a play. Mind you, I live about 1 minutes walk from work, so I can't really not get in to the office...
  19. Which is when you'll write out two versions, one for this thread, and one for Muel. Hugs man, tis never easy.
  20. No cables, I train at home. Can't afford no gym! (Money or time wise). Would love to train with you some time man but I'm never back any more. I'm only planning 3 days for christmas lol. Hmmm, I thought 4 was fine, doing about 6 for my biceps and that seems to be working very well indeed... I like incline bench, works my upper boobies! I'll give it another couple of weeks and then see how I go.
  21. Bench, incline bench, dips, skullcrushers. Go on there a lot, tis very helpful. I always found that. If I stretched then I was in a lot more pain and it lasted 2-3 days rather than 1-2. I guess just carry on, see what happens... They are improving, just not as quickly as I'd like.
  22. Why won't my triceps grow as fast as the rest of me? They're incredibly small and gay. I'm training hard, sleeping well, eating well. The only thing I can think of is that I haven't been very strict with my stretching...
  23. That's well off. I pay less than that in a year. (Single person tenancy, but my Ex lived here for 4 months, I have 2 showers a day and now lovely new wifey stays often as well).
  24. f**k you man! I just hate the stuff. I don't sniff it, I hold my breath and down the pint of it, but still end up chucking the f**king stuff up again. My current diet is giving my 200g+ a day without that powdery bollocks anyway.
  25. I understand why people don't like them sometimes. Personally I can't ride a bike without one, it just feels wrong. But, I can't stand them when climbing, and I've come closer to hitting my head when climbing than I ever did riding trials. It's completely and utterly stupid, but then so is soloing and I do that too...
