  1. It's more for bolts, not bearings. Besides, it's shockingly shit IMO.

    Food!

Eat it raw, it's not sticky then.

    Food!

So over 300g of protein and a lot of fart? I never ate that much even when I was bulking as much as possible. I doubt even Ronnie Coleman could use all that protein each day.

It's true, you're one of them. I'm the worst cook in the entire world. Everything I make is very bland, very functional, and pretty good for you. I made some burgers recently which were OK in terms of numbers, but the strongest tasting thing was the cheese. Still awaiting JD to finger the recipe and tell me what seasoning to use.
  5. Bigger res pic needed please. Looks good man! I've played on a right posh one of those (Ogre's), was a lovely thing to trackstand on and ride round in a little circle. (About the extent of my ability these days).

What everyone else has said really, plus I'd try not to answer questions they may ask on your CV. They want to be able to quickly compare 200 people and choose 20 for interviews. That's when they'll ask you stuff. Re-doing mine tonight, as it's rather shit.
  10. Probably not going to be around on Sunday so won't be able to come see peoples.
  11. Still way beyond me lol. My finger stregnth is shocking. On an overhang with nice big holds I'm climbing at about 6A (got about 3/4 of the way up a 6B the other night), but on vert or a slab I struggle on 5+. Sounds good man, keep working at it! I have a possible project to work on. I heard tell of a crag near my Dad's house that did have 28 routes on it, but hasn't been mentioned in any guide book since 1990 and there are no reported climbs on UKC. Plus it's lost, and I only know the rough area of it. Anyways, we shall see, should be a fun walk even if it's too slimey and crumbly to climb on. Aye seen that before, I have the video on my computer (stole a couple of big torrents full of climbing films), It's from Stone Monkey I believe? One of my favourite films is that, definitely worth a watch. They put the date back! So he won't be there until this Thursday, but I'm planning on popping along to see what's what.
  12. There's not a foot, but there is about 3-4" at mine, about 2 miles out from the center and on the same height above sea level. Personally, I'd say it's off lol. This shit won't melt to a ridable level by tomorrow evening, let alone the morning.
  13. Definite snow my end of Sheff as well, which is pretty much the opposite end to Ben (I think, I'm in Heeley/Meersbrook). I'd say 5mm, only light and gay atm but it's only gonna get colder tonight and the sky is very grey, so guessing we'll have some decent snow fall tonight.
  14. Props to you for taking this on. I've been thinking for a while that Trials doesn't have enough printed media. Unfortunately it's a tiny sport. As said by others already, I strongly recommend that you hire a professional designer, think of it as the icing on the top of the cake. You've spent years working on the content and I'm sure it's at least as good as your website, if not better, but how-ever you dress it up, a fruitcake is not a pretty thing. A christmas cake however, is very pretty, even though they taste the same. Depends what your audience is. If the book will only ever be available on the internet to members of forums who are looking to improve their riding, then it looks fine IMO. If you want it on a shelf in a bookshop and want people to rock up and be all, "Hmmm, this looks like a very glamorous sport, and this natty handbook will clearly turn me into this Benito Ross fellow", then it's going to fall short IMO. Plus bare in mind that a lot of UK riders are spotty oiks with squeaky voices, and will find the pictures more interesting than the words. Just my opinion. I'm afraid I won't be buying a copy as it's about as useful to me as LibreOffice (hehe, geek joke), but I will buy a lot of climbing books that look kinda similar to show my support.
  15. Depends how far away you wanna park. My road is free, for example (but is 2 miles away from the train station). Most aren't though and need a permit. Pretty sure the ones round Ogre's house do and the ones all round my wife's house do as well.
  16. Because it's proper gay.
  17. Nicely done, I'm a long way off clinging to any holds that small. New climbing club just started up at a pub near me, going tonight, Johnny Dawes is doing a reading and a book signing, so should be interesting. Apparantly the climbing night at the pub will always contain either a speaker or a film. Hopefully someone will go along who lives next door to me and has a car...
  18. Nah she just wondered why I have a shoe box next to my bed lined with straw, "That's Dan's bed" I said.
  19. Come along Ben, I'll observe with you for a bit lol. Wifey just said tis cool, she wants to meet the mighty Griffin and Dan. (I've mentioned you before). Last time I saw you Adam, was 2008 lol. I nearly pulled that big stone off the wall when I bunny hopped it.
  20. I'm climbing, but we'll be passing through the center. Will give Ogre/Dan/Adam a ring to see where you all are and maybe possibly might come say harrow.
  21. I doin't think I've laughed so hard in a very long time. I'm going to go and copy and paste that to all of my friends on facebook.
  22. I'm willing to bet money that the reason it has a shit clutch is because it's the standard volvo clutch from the XC90. What's a paddle clutch? I thought sportier cars generally had multi-plate wet clutches like what bikes have?
  23. Online transfers. But only if you want to add a new payee. If you're sending to a payee you've used before you can do it without. I love Natwest, they think about these things. After all, why would a baddy want to steal my monies by sending it to my Mum or my landlord?
  24. Is it only me that kinda prefers Top Gear America to the "proper" version?
