  1. Have you tried hoovering all the dust out of the cooler? I wouldn't bother pissing about with coolers on that card personally, it's a bit old now (no offense meant), it'd be cheaper and easier to just get a better card second hand to be honest.

    Minecraft

It's tricky but once you get the hang of it, it's piss easy. Nope, I don't look up stuff about MC apart from what I need to play it lol.

Anyone played with redstone circuits? Just working on my first one now, shits so hard to get your head round! I'm working on a huge tower on top of a hill that will look like Sauron's, complete with flaming eye ball at the top.
  4. Well it is a beta, it's bound to have bugs, I reckon it's a really clever idea. Release it in beta, everyone rushes to get hold of it, and they get several thousand people testing it and reporting loads of issues with it for free. Given that testing normally costs a fortune, I reckon it's a good plan.
  5. Judging by his posts and username, not enough.
  6. Is this one actually called Battlefield 3 or Bad Company 3? Always gets me confused when people talk about Battlefield 2 when they mean Bad Company 2 lol. BF2 is rather old now.
  7. This is true. If I have a few days of not smoking I find I can walk up the stairs without having to pause half way for a sit down.
  8. How did you get access to the beta? Thought it was only for pre-orderists?
  9. Nah, I refused to pre-order. Never spend more than £20 on games, I'll just grab it cheap on steam in a year.
  10. I'd get a carbide drill bit down the centre, then smash the rest into pieces with a nail and a big hammer. Job done. Never had to do it because I've never managed to snap a tap in an aluminium thread, but I know some more ham-fisted people who have.

    Blisters

For now, tape and wear gloves, for the future, wear gloves. Also try TrialTech foam grips, I changed to ride gloveless after starting to play with them, amazing little things they are.
  12. Just re-read, plus read the others comments. Ditch her. You're doing everything I did wrong with my ex (too nice, too contactable, waiting on her hand and foot, not being vocal enough about what you want, forgiving her for cheating etc). I forgave my ex for two similar incidents too. What a massive twat I was. Was never the same again, if anything she was even more in the driving seat of the relationship.
  13. Hmmm, I don't know Chrome that well, only ever used it for testing. Just had a poke around but it looks like the "Restore to default settings" option has been removed from when I last used it, can't find it anywhere. Tried reinstalling it? If not I suggest moving to Firefox 6 or Opera 11, use them both regularly and love them, just can't get on with Chrome.
  14. Sounds like your browser isn't saving cookies/login details. What browser are you using?
  15. Developers often make apps and give them away to make a name for themselves. It would look pretty f**king good to have Angry Bird Creator on your CV. In terms of this Tarty App, I wouldn't dream of taking it on for less than £2k. It would not be a simple thing to build. A far better system IMO would be for Tarty to start storing card details and have a service like the Amazon 1 click thingy, that way no sensitive data has to run through your phone's connection, then just add some phone specific CSS to the current site to make it a bit more phone friendly.
  16. Me neither. Over the last few weeks I've been out almost every night, meeting lots of rather nasty looking ladies and drunkenly giving them my phone number. As a result, one girl I met has a bloke she's been with for three years but won't leave me alone (avoiding her), one won't stop texting me or turning up where she knows I'll be (certain club on a Friday night), and one who keeps asking me out for a drink, but she's my mates ex, he's still seeing her every now and again, and she's clinically insane (keep fobbing her off, hope she'll take a hint soon). Can't. Be. Arsed.
  17. Personally I'd talk to your mate about it, and meet with him and the new owners to work out a new deal. Something like, they can have access to their house if they don't f**k you or your father in law around. Petty revenge on your mates missus, or a decent relationship with your father in laws neighbours?
  18. Niceeee, that'll do lol. That is indeed a rather cheap build, should suit you pretty well for a few years at least.
  19. I've not kept in touch with the 6*** series, is that the dual GPU one? Replacement for the 5970? I'm still repping Crossfire 5830s. They consume about 350w alone and the performance isn't amazing these days, but they were cheap and I can plays all the Crysis games. (Not a massive fan of Crysis 2 at all).
  20. Personally I'd go for this. Will only do x8/x8 PCIE though, but that's what my board does and it makes less than 2% difference to x16/x16. I'm a Gigabyte fan though, and a lot of people reckon the Asrock something or other is the best SB board atm. Wouldn't bother, it's a bit old and overpriced for what it is now. I'd go for any of these, considering an H100 myself.

    Facebook Problem

Opera, Chrome, Firefox, Safari. Personally I prefer Opera, but use Firefox 3.6 most of the time because I have a few plugins that only work in that.
