Or just 5 of Dann?
-
But I would never need to do that, I haven't ridden pedally bikes for nearly 2 years lol. Plus you can't get 5 people, 5 bikes and enough stuff for a few weeks travelling in a Micra. I do regularly, just one at a time.
-
Which is why at 21, I still ride a shitty little 125 motorbike. £85 a year to insure and it'll keep up with anyone in a 1.0l Micra... An extra £1.5-2k to keep dry? Think I'll buy a waterproof jacket thanks.
-
It will if the tubes are already butted and super thin. It'll collapse. To be fair I think they might have thought of holes, one of the bikes above would cost $45,000 to make again.
-
Pretty sure that in terms of stregnth/weight, you're better off making the tubes thinner before you start cutting holes in them. Imagine if they did a brakeless fixie version...

I'm secretly f**king all of your mothers.

Nope, definitely not. Not had a fiddle yet, I'm just going to wait for the proper release. Server I play on is going to undergo a load of changes and start a fresh map at the same time.

No-one knows for certain if any piece of information is fact really, but I know someone who's pretty high up in the British army's intelligence thingy, who works closely with MI5 or 6, (can't remember which). He told us on the day about the plan they shot down and covered up, then had to ring up and tell us not to tell anyone because it was all a big secret. The basic facts of it being a terrorist act performed by Bin Laden and his crew were true according to him, but as for the details I've either forgotten or never remembered.

If it's the PSU that came with the drive, then surely it should be fine?
-
Yeh and I'm the green giant. Ho ho ho.

I tend to go with a pint of half vodka half orange juice, tis the perfect pre-drink. I've had really messy night by having one of them, then just odd drinks through the night, and it only costs about £3 so you can have a good night on a tenner.
-
Hahaha, forgot about that night. That kinda thing happens wayyyy too often now.
-
Overbudget massively for everything. I was out for freshers and pre-freshers almost every night, maybe 10 nights out of the 14, and it cost me well over £500. All depends what you're into, I know plenty of students who only go out once a week. If you're the kind of frugal, good at budgeting person that I used to be then you'll be fine. If you're a massive twat like me who can't say no to a night out, then you'll end up spending a total of £6-7k in 9 months purely on socialising, booze and fags. Starting to think it's not worth it.

Yes they're supposed to be sealed. Sounds like it's naffed to me. That noise is it attempting to spin up the discs or move the arm to read something, but it's failing and restrying, hence the click. If there's anything gravely important on it, then I'd send it off to one of those data recovery companies and let them deal with it. Can cost £50+ though.

Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread

Well on the one hand, she can do what the f**k she likes and you can't do anything about it, but then again that is taking the piss a little bit. Strikes me that's being a classic girl though, and avoiding upsetting stuff right now, even though it needs to be done soon and will get worse as time progresses. -

In theory, yes fine. In practice, very, very, very, very, very rarely. Once you've tapped it, you will always have tapped it. EDIT: Depends on the time since breakup, how the breakup occured, all that shit. -
Some riders just don't though. I've never missed a sidehop and hit the chainstay, or dented a downtube. The only dents I did were little ones when I ended up and my arse and the bike landed on it's own. It might only be an option to 5% of trials riders, but seeing as it'll cost over £2.5k at a guess, that's probably about right?

When I break things, I throw them away.
-
Why is it that every time people see carbon fibre they assume it's going to break? Mountain bikes have had carbon frames for around 10 years, Moto GP bikes and F1 cars are made with lots of carbon fibre, and it's practically the norm for road bikes to have carbon frames now. It's good stuff. I had a pair of carbon forks once, best I ever had, and I snapped a pair of Trialtechs.

Technically it's illegal to copy and paste parts of peoples logos, but I doubt very much that Twitter would give a flying f**k. I actually like the concept, but I think in practice it might get a bit too busy/unpolished, but I like the idea. JD, I've done a little bit of logo design and I'm looking for work for the portfolio, how's about I try to fit in some time coming up with some concepts then you owe me a suckjob? Definitely drop the marketing. Can the colours be fettled, even if they're kept roughly the same?

That says anything could be wrong to me. CPU, RAM, GPU, Motherboard, PSU. Without having it in front of me I'd struggle to diagnose it really. But seeing as it beeps when the RAM is out, I'd say the motherboard is the first thing to cross off as "Probably OK", same goes for the PSU. I'd say borrow a graphics card from somewhere and try that out, after that I'm not sure what to do. Occasional white lines on the screen says artifacting to me, which is usually a dead GPU. Reseting the BIOS will probably do nothing in this case IMO. Without the screen to set it up again, I would seriously avoid it, at least until you've tried another GPU.
-
It'll be fineeee, personally I'd go for a CR500 engine. Means mounting the rad and rebuilding it more often, but it'd be worth it.
-
80cc? f**k that, get a YZ490 engine in there! In the original bike they wheelie off the throttle in top gear, and they're aircooled so no need to worry about that.
-
Hmmmmm, what makes you think it's the PSU at fault? Do you have another GPU you can try out? I've never had a PSU problem but as far as I know, they're designed to simply die to stop the rest of your kit dieing. However, it's plausible that it has one rail just to power the GPU, and that rail has died. Running multiple PSUs is a right ballache, because they're turned on and off by connecting two of the pins in the 24pin connector together, so you tend to need to run two power buttons.

I've had a Corsair TX650W, had it nearly 2 years and it's been perfect. Fan is dead quiet, all the voltages are dead stable (I monitor them), and that's with a 140W CPU and two ATI 5830s, which pull about 175-200W each I think, those alone add up to about 500w, and everything is overclocked so it could easily be pulling 575w from the wall by my reckoning. I like Corsair.
