  1. Typical Trials-Forum, a serious topic about some pretty big trouble going on in our country, which has the potential to get seriously bad, and you lot start talking about the hand to hand combat techniques. Even defying the warnings from the Mods about not taking this topic seriously... Naughty boys.
  2. Half arsed from what I've heard, gre up not far away and got a lot of friends in Manc, very little occuring really by the sounds of it.
  3. Thought that maybe this could prove to be a positive thing? The white vigilanty football service crew thuggy bastards wiping and the mostly black rioters going at it and potentially wiping each other out? (Obviously this post is trying to make light of the situation, if it's seen to be too much then I'll remove it).
  4. Nope nothing yet, everyone's too busy sitting in the pub watching the riots on telly. Leeds service crew are getting fired up on their forum at the moment, apparently there's some footballingism competition on tonight.
  5. JD: Agreed. Tensions are high obviously, Ali's post was a bit careless IMO, but Matt you need to calm down to be honest. I know in this case it's very personal for you, but you've directed them at me enough times. Besides, now is a time to put them aside, not dish them out all the more.
  6. I agree, and it will only make the situation worse and worse, leading to the downfall of modern Britain. These riots will continue, bankrupting the economy and sending us further into financial chaos. Welcome to the apocalypse.
  7. Anyone heard any threats against the center of Sheffield yet? I live in a bit of a shitty area...
  8. If you had something to shout and fight about, and some faceless rozzer suppressed you, what would you do? You'd get organised and start coordinating your attacks, which is exactly what's starting to happen, (in a rather hap-hazard fashion).
  9. Exactly. Stupid people need to be presented with a very easy, simple, stupid life. You can either build homes for them and give them monies to buy drugs with, or you can use them as cannon fodder. I suppose there's forced labour camps as well, but them's not so good for moral.
  10. Personally I think there's nothing that can be done. There is an army of young people in this country now who have grown up with no fear. 50 kids were in a worldwide war, 60s kids were cleaning up from that war. In the 70s, there was a lot of IRA stuff going on and a lot of riots in America (I think), 80s kids had the cold war, but since the early 90s, there has been no big scary empire threatening to take over. The UK and America are pretty much invincible now, and the rioters seem to be mainly these young people who've grown up with no fear. No-one is going to hurt them, and the only authority available is our own police, who turn up, do a good job on the street but then have to let them go. There are millions of them (young scummy people aged 15-30), and there aren't as many police. They're lacking a common cause IMO, something to fight together for, so they fight against who they see to be the bad guys, which is our own useless government. We need to fight the Germans again. (The above isn't meant to offend anyone, and is actually what I think, but delivered with a fair bit of humor. Also this is a long term idea, not short term. Everyone is concentrating on what to do today, not over the next 20 years.)
  11. Absolutely love it. I want to do more web designy stuff in that sort of style, but can't see how to incorporate blocks of text into that kinda style.
  12. I can imagine. I want help building my castle, it's taking forever. I found one incredibly gay thing. I went for a sleep in my bed, when I woke up a zombie was next to me and killed me before I could get my sword out, now I'm stuck outside at night with no weapons, and it's too dark to see anything so I can't find my way back. Saved it, will sort it later.
  13. Still didn't get Minecraft, was bored, got the demo, now I understand Minecraft. It's like brakeless trials, it's shit on paper but oh so amazing in practice. My plan is to dig a huge mine, and on top of it, a castle. Might look into place it online soon. Might even pay for it. Any of you guys play it much? Pity it isn't on Steam.
  14. My post above was about as serious as all my posts on here. The ex was nothing like that. EDIT: Just noticed how many posts I've done about the whole deal, maybe I'll stop now...
  15. I think men get them in sync with their womens. Waking up (off it): Man: "Morning, y'alreet?" Lass: "Aye peachy, stick the kettle on" Man: Waking up (on it): Man: "Morning, y'alreet?" Lass: "WHAT DID YOU WAKE ME UP FOR? WHY IS IT THAT TIME? WHY DOES YOUR FACE LOOK LIKE THAT? WHY IS THE SKY BLUE? MAKE COFFEE, BUT MAKE IT NICE THIS TIME!" Man: This is why being single is just better. I have spoken.
  16. Aye, plus the amount of time I have back is rediculous. I'm enjoying being single already, which kinda shows what state the relationship was in I guess.
  17. It's normal to have a few emo moment right? Girl move into new flat with you, 3 months later she leave, but you're in your routines already? Rediculous shit like coming home at lunchtime and walking into the door, because it's locked when it was always open. Making two mugs of coffee in the morning automatically instead of the one. Is this actually normal or am I just a gay?
  18. Hugs dawg. How come if you don't mind me asking?
  19. You think that's bad? I clicked that f**king link at work. It was blocked, which means the security manager has been sent an email informing him that I clicked that link. NSFW needs to be marked NSFW Kev, you knobend.
  20. Wait, so three different frames, made in different years all snapped in roughly the same area? I SMELL A CONSPIRACY.
  21. It was completely crazy. At the time I was still at uni (on my placement year now). For me it's comparable to going abroad, it's an alien place full of this strange race of people I don't understand, who talk funny and have completely different ways of life to me. Chicago at the Cambridge Theatre.
  22. Train fare for two came to £140, apartment was £190 (f**king posh though, in an area where the next cheapest was over £300, and the living room alone was bigger than my flat at the time), show tickets were £160 (best seats in the place IMO), two evenings meals at £50+ a go, two lunches at £25ish a go, went to Ripley's Odditorium which was £50ish, then loads of shopping and stuff. Easily adds up! to be honest I still think it was worth it, it was an all out weekend but the memories will last forever. Not even 1 months wages for the best weekend of my life? Worth it to me. (Even though things have since gone to shit between us).
  23. The local news is North West Tonight? I grew up about 25 miles from Manchester. I've been to the south a few times now, took the ex to London for her birthday to see her favourite musical. Cost £750 for a 1 night stay. Seems like a pretty f**king stupid thing to do now.
  24. Up int north, people sometimes say bacon when talking about ladies' front bottoms.
  25. Wellll yeh pretty much, but it was regular, like we'd see each other at lunch most days and had at least 2 evenings a week and a day at the weekend together, it was different time alone than it is now. That's a point, bacon! She hated the stuff so much that the smell made her retch, so naturally I stopped getting it in so the smell didn't upset her. Now I can have bacon again! Yes I got the reference, and I've structured my reply accordingly.
