    Travel cluedo, not pocket cluedo.
  2. I'd wait to see if it's actually a crack before shelling out on a new frame personally.
  3. Nope, My C drive is over 100gb not counting my Steam setup which is 65gb+. It might be faster to run a couple of scans, but when you add in updating stuff and the amount of installing and uninstalling I do when testing stuff, it's not all that much longer if you just wipe it every 6 months.
  4. Delete as much shit as you can, go through the list of installed programs and uninstall any you don't use any more, then do these things in order: Run CCleaner Disc cleaner. Run CCleaner registry cleaner. Run Eusing Registry Cleaner Run Defraggler. It might be a good idea to run an antivirus scan, a spyware scan and an adware scan as well. I personally never bother with any of them any more, I just reinstall Windows instead. Much better results and doesn't take that much more time/hassle once you get a routine sorted out.
  5. Runs like shit for me. Crossfire 5830s, 965BE and 8gb of RAM, struggles to get 45fps, not even on full settings. Doubt it very much to be honest, those temps are fine for all modern kit I can think of. I'm gonna say drivers most likely, then power, then overclocking/instability, then overheating.
  6. Bump in October? I've only had the heating on for a week so far this year...
  7. First thing I'd do personally (as I have spare hard drives) is wack another hard drive in place of the new one, do a fresh install of Windows and build it from scratch with all the latest drivers, and torture test it. Then I'd look at PSU/GPU issues. 90% of all the problems I've ever solved were either Windows being shit or drivers. In a word, no. Should be fine, although if you want it to work well just wack a cable in. Wireless sucks. (Well not really, I just don't like it very much. )
  8. If you bought it complete, send it back, let them deal with it. Issues from new like that normally point to overclock/overheating problems in my experience, something you should ideally try to avoid dealing with.
  9. Obvious typo is blindingly obvious.
  10. The grinder I used for the last 4 years of me riding cost £7. It worked. Decent grinders might last longer, but will it last 5 times longer? Not worth 5 times as much in my eyes then. (You mentioned spending £40ish, £35 would be 4 of my grinder).
  11. 48mbps (Wireless G) is the maximum, you'll never see anything like that speed.
  12. I don't know of any tests, personally I just keep an eye on the speed when transferring a large file (1080p file for example) across the network. Real life tests ***.
  13. Started reading this thread thinking it was a good candidate for the Shittest Thread of the Year award, but then JD has to spoil it. You. Wanker.

    Pc Experts...

If it's new then get in touch with the shop. Speakers tested with something else and working? How do they connect to the PC? Sure you've selected the right audio output (if you're using one, some are USB like mine)?
  15. Most of mine haven't. Only high end stuff does.
  16. That image is ancient though. Firefox 3.6 has gone to and 7.0 now, IE is now IE9, Chrome has gone from 3.0 to 12.0, and so on. This isn't a browser war thread anyway, it's a "get any real browser" thread.

    Films!?

A mate is coming to mine tonight because she's determined to make me see the Lion King. I've gone 21 years having never seen it, should I break my streak?

Are you even able to partake this event yet youngun?

    Movember

Might well take part just to embaress myself. In that time I'll grow about 10mm of fluff.
  20. Reinstalling IE is a right fag though. Just install Firefox. (Or Chrome, Opera or Safari).
  21. Competitive swimming you cock. 50m sprint was my calling. Packed it in though because the training needed to get good is insane. Every day before and after school, no ta.
  22. Personally I wish I'd done anything else. Met some amazing people but I poured ridiculous amounts of time and money into it. I should have stuck at something I had a mild amount of skill in before packing it in, like swimming.
