  1. I are! I'm in love with my wheels, cranks, brakes, rear tyre, chain, pedals, grips and bar/stem. I'd prefer a stiffer frame and fork and Continental Mountain King Supersonic front tyre but other than that it's pretty much sorted. My 2 years and 3 months old Tensile FFW which tommorrow is finally moving on with the rest of my Echo. Will be sad to see it go! I've had it on my T-Pro, Zona Zip, 06 Echo Lite, 07 Echo Lite and the 08 Echo Lite. Never missed a beat.

It's like my dream frame aswell, but I don't fancy one now... Hydroxx 2 when the student loan kicks in maybe?

Shit Kyle where did it go? Wasn't down to all the lightening work was it?
  4. It's been tried, the helium leaks out of the tubes. And going to the gym makes you heavier, instead of making your bike lighter.
  5. Bikes wear jumpers these days? Lighter bikes are easier to ride, it's pretty much a fact. It doesn't make a huge difference when you only do one move then stop and chat for 5 mins, but when you actually ride sections it makes a huge difference.
  6. So who out of these is an unexperienced, young, shit rider then Dave?
  7. Strip the freewheel down, remove the pawls and springs and get hold of the centre section in a vide with some soft jaws, then stick a pipe over the crank arm and try and undo it. It might work, hopefully you greased the thread before you screwed it on.
  8. What do you mean, "arn't capable of testing the frame"? He wants it testing by normal riders because that's who it will be sold to, theres no point giving one to any top level riders, because they're far better riders than your average joe. It looks to me like theres a really good selection of riders signed up, people who use maggy, rear disc, vees, people who are harsh, people who never get a pinch. It's the best possible way of making sure that the frame will suit the average rider out there who is going to buy it.

    Pc Help!

It can't even load the Windows reinstall disc? Sounds like a BIOS/Hardware failure to me. I had something exactly the same on an old HP computer I got for free, I never managed to mend it though, it had on board graphics and sound, and I was pretty sure it was the motherboard that had died, and I couldn't find a new one. I'd ask on a tech help forum or take it to a shop, but it sounds like it's going to be expensive.
  10. Are you running a cup and cone bearing rear hub? I've found they can tighten up of their own accord, happened to me a couple of times.
  11. Were some of the clipd speeded up or is it just my computer? Some of the clips look all messed up, everyones moving way to fast. Looks like fun! Wish I could have been there.
  12. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=132539 Theres a few guys in this topic that was posted in NMC today.
  13. No, it has a 20" front and rear to keep the weight down and because kids Adam's size won't need a great big tyre, as Robin explained 2 posts above yours...
  14. Looks great stan! I really want one of these, I reckon my orange rims would look amazing on one of them. I think I might try some of these pads once my PhatPads have worn out, what sort of rim/grind are you running? I'm guessing a Trialtech rim and a sharp light-medium grind?
  15. Looks good Robin! How's Adam finding it? Hopefully the weight and geometry will help him out, hope to see you soon and see how you're getting on. What gear ratio did you go for in the end? Looks like 16:13-16:14 to me? You can get even lighter tyres than those, so i bet you could get it sub 7kg if you really wanted to.
  16. Really stiff brush and plain water I find works well, or ride in the rain, or take them off and use hot soapy.
  17. Top tip, don't go near it with soapy stuff, you'll end up having to bed your discs in again. I just spray it with water, then use a soft brush if any is left and spray it again, then when it's dry go over it and wipe any left over grime away.

    Laptop Choice Help

That looks alright, but it's a bit small. I think I'm going to wait until I'm at Uni now, they should have computers there that we use, so I just want to find out how much I'll need/want one when I get there. Otherwise I'll build a new desktop and add another monitor in. Cheers for the help anyway guys, I'll considor a Mac, but I doubt I'll go for it, all the computers here are on Windows and I want Office, I think macs can use Open Office? I had it for Windows a while back and I couldn't stand it and switched back to Office 2003.
  19. I know, but have you got MSN? The we can talk more, or email is fine.

  20. Friends list on his profile, I'm like Sam Doman in training.
  21. He knows Oak I think Tommy. I'm from North Derbyshire, I've met Oak and Alex (Berrybike) once at the Buxton ride you cam to Tom! We never ride over your way though but give us a shout if you fancy riding some natural over this way.
  22. Alright mate, I'm not from Derby I'm from near Manchester, I'm only just in Derbsyhire. Have you got MSN?

    Pads

I'd recommend CNC backings, they make the brake a lot stiffer, I doubt I'll use anything else. I've never used a smooth rim setup though, but I know a couple of people who swear by original Zoo pads with a tiny bit of tar.
  24. Hence (effectively)! I knew all that stuff, but I knew it was going to you first and I knew you were in Northern Ireland, so I was pretty sure that that was the case with postage.

I don't want to have to mess about though really, and I'm not into the whole white thing. It's probably a good idea to wait for Windows 7 to come out actually, I've read somewhere it might be this October.
