In Winamp, you can pause it and it saves it and then plays it from where you paused it. But won't I be behind everyone else when mike gets on?

Fair enough, each to their own mate! That's probably because it is weaker. It has made a massive difference to my riding. I'm not sooooo weight concious really, you don't see me shot blasting the paint and running shitty chains. I just think that if you have the spare time to do some simple stuff and save some weight, then you should. I do care a lot about my bikes weight upto a point, which is about 9kg. As long as it's under 9kg I'm not overly bothered, I just have spare time and spare money, and I enjoy seeing how light I can get it, and seeing how light I can make it without affecting the way it rides.

Try-All 31.8, or a Monty TI. Personally I'd get the TI.

I think I actually prefer having seperate Mod and Stock classes, on certain sections you could ride them better on a stock, some better on a Mod. But am I right in thinking that the age rule means that if your 17 like me, you have to ride a certain route or above?

Rock N Roll Cycles? To be honest, I think thats worse than SuperCycles. Sorry but I just think it sounds a bit childish? It's the sort of name we used to give our "bike shop" back in the day when everyone used to come and play in my shed.

AH, I had the same thing on my Zona. Try-All stem with Adamant bars. Try tipping them up vertical if they are facing foward. If you want to buy a new set of bars, I'd get something like Monty TI, Try-All Rage or Viv Maxbars, something like that. Bar position make a big difference, if you tip them back so they are pretty much vertical, then it will feel wierd at first but when you get used to it, it's much, much nicer.

No Exams for me this year! I dropped out of sixth form because I failed AS, so now I'm doing a BTEC National Diploma for IT practitioners, which is all coursework.

We need to know more than that. What bike is it? What bar/stem does it have? How tall are you?

Just buy a bench, mine was about £40 from argos. Cheaper if you get it online to collect in store.

Yeh, they do look really long, but I've also had both forks out and next to each other and measured them up as best I could, and they seemed identical. The bike doesn't ride any different, apart from it's a fair bit lighter at the front.

Cheers Danny. I could, but i think I'd dent it pretty easily on the rare occasion that I do rim it on stuff. I did think about drilling next to each spoke hole on either side, but I'd have to strip the wheel down.

I think its a bit daft really. YMSA have got the right idea, sack the age rule completely. What has age got to do with ability in trials? I agree that in athletic events or at world level, if you 14 and really good, then it's a disadvantage being against people with more experience and power in them. I think that the age rule is daft, and that bike sizes should be mixed together.
