  1. Apparently I've not updated this since 2010, so here goes... You are all very f**king gay.

  2. Look at it this way, 99% of people are a little mental in some way or another, but 50-75% of women are f**king mental. All lads know and accept this, and most girls do, so any decent friend will forgive you for getting roped in to it, because we all do at one time or another. If I were you, I'd either apologise to the mates you feel you've upset or just ignore it and carry on. If the subject comes up just laugh it off! I'd be interested to hear if any of the regular posters in here have not had a relationship with a f**king mental girl? I can't think of a single person who will say they haven't.
  3. IMO shitty thermal compound won't have caused that. I suspect the cooler's pump may have died.
  4. You are slightly weird.
  5. Not exactly sure you understand what asexual means... You can choose to be abstinent, not straight/gay/bisexual/asexual. As long as you're happy.

    F1

That noise is great for 1min and 45secs, but when you've got 1.5 hours of qualifying highlights and 2 hours of race highlights to watch, it gets tiring.
  7. Shut up and lift modfag!
  8. There were parts I enjoyed and parts I didn't but I'll watch it again at some point.

They said at the end of the race they would be appealing.
  10. Don't forget hanging off cranes by your fingernails for fun.

    F1

I was thinking of getting back into F1 this year, (got bored when KERS came in and haven't bothered since). McLaren have always been my favourite team and Button my favourite driver so I'm well happy! Racing was pretty awesome today. I have watched around 1 race per year for the last 2-3 years, and it always seemed like a precession to me. Was an awesome race today though! Lots of twitchy cars going sideways and overtaking and drama.

    The Angry Thread.

Never ever use flash drives for storing things. They're ridiculously unreliable. I've had at least 10 in the last 6-7 years and they've all died. Amazed how many people lose work because they don't backup their work and rely on flash drives... Use dropbox and take manual backups, and keep old backups as an archive! (I lost a load of work recently because a load of file got corrupted, dropbox synced them, I backed them up and didn't notice for months. They're forever corrupted now.)

Ban him Dave! That'll get his work done. :-P
  14. Drive shaft healed itself, clutch no longer slips, happy Muel.

Someone make a picture of a LobsterTuna?
  16. Many happy anniversaries for him! (If they get married on the same date that he proposed but you get the picture OK guys?).
  17. If you've got 10 mins and think that Oasis are a bunch of twats, then behold! Noel Gallagher agrees with you.
  18. I took my girlfriend out for tea tonight, 10 miles from home there was a clang and the bike lurched as if it has misfired. Carried on completely fine, but got home to find that the shaft drive had pissed oil onto the rear tyre. It turns smoothly but I am a little concerned. Bits of metal floating around the shaft drive and oil on the tyre don't make the best of friends... MOT is up in 3 weeks and I live 30 miles from my Dad's workshop. Joy. Going to have to limp it there on Saturday and just hope that I'm only crawling if the shaft decides to explode and lock the read wheel.
  19. Windows can't run the things I want to use, Linux can. The stability of it and the speed are just helpful extras.
  20. Pretty much a requirement yeh. http://linuxbeard.com
  21. It's true, I am a linux user. Got a beard and everything. No doubt there's some ace little tool I can use to find that info out, I may have an explore tonight.
  22. Over the last year I've had it totally f**k up twice and lose a load of data that meant a lot, but recovered from a backup each time, and it's also at some point synced a load of files that got corrupted. No idea how or when, but a load of stuff I built at uni is now garbled. Serves me right for replacing the backups of my dropbox directory each time I back it up. I should have kept the old backups as well, then I could have found the point where they weren't corrupted and recovered them. Ah well. I use git to handle version control of anything I build now, then back that up myself as well as pushing everything to bitbucket or github. Hopefully my source code will be safe now!
  23. How do you find that out? Would be interesting to see what mine are on. One is 4 years old, the other is 5 years old. One of them is in my server now, which I think is the 5 year old one... Yayyyy at last! I've almost scrapped Dropbox after 6-7 years of using it now. Far too unreliable.
  24. Ah yes, I did. I actually have 2 Samsung F3s, and they're reliable but SOOO loud. They sound like they run on coal.
